'But this whole "bonding" thing is so annoying.'
He was cold, not at all soft and warm like his mother.
'He's stupid, too. I said such cringey things, and he had absolutely no reaction.'
Sunxiao did react, though.
He came back to his senses and tossed him onto the bed with a look of disgust.
"Don't try to be a hero if you can't handle it. Until you reach a Three-Star Beast Soul, you can't directly absorb the energy from my snake scales. Your weak body can't take it."

Qiao Lie tossed the snake scale onto the bed and even swatted it farther away with his little snake tail in disgust.
"Sunxiao."
Hei Zong's voice came from downstairs.
Sunxiao glanced at Qiao Lie, then turned and went downstairs.
