Wyatt Hawthorne followed the secretary into Zane Shelby's office, his gaze falling first on the guest sofa.
Faye Vaughn was sitting there.
She lifted her gaze to meet his, her bright, captivating eyes curving into a smile that was both composed and sweetly alluring.
"Long time no see."
She spoke softly.
It hadn't actually been that long, but it truly felt like a lifetime ago.
She had completely broken free from his control.
Wyatt Hawthorne's handsome face was cold and grim. He gave her a faint glance before looking away, as if he didn't care much.
"Hawthorne, get over here and listen to this."
Zane Shelby gloated, mocking him, "See? I told you. This is the mess you made. You're the one to blame."
In the darkened room, the man was confessing.
"It's... the eldest daughter of the Windsor Family in Keston. Vi-Vivian Windsor!"
The accusation couldn't have been clearer.
