"Adonis, dude, you were awesome out there," said a chubby young man while Adonis took the seat beside him.
"You think so? I feel she will kill me."
"Haha, true. That's our Ice Goddess for you." The chubby boy slapped Adonis' back in the heat of the moment.
Feeling it a little improper, Adonis felt slightly awkward.
The boy extended his chubby hand.
"Anyway, my name is Lark, level 6. I wish we get along, Adonis," he said genuinely.
Adonis, feeling relaxed, accepted it. "Likewise."
Soon, the first lesson ended.
Teacher Isabella headed out of the classroom.
Adonis smiled mischievously, then also rose from his own seat.
"Where are you going, Adonis?" Lark asked curiously.
"To the bathroom," Adonis lied and left.
Other students noticed him, but they only shrugged it off.
Adonis slipped out of the classroom with the casual stride of someone who belonged everywhere he went.
