Chapter 7 - The Phoenix Ascends

The invitations left spirit city at dawn.

They travelled by spirit hall envoys - swift, silent, unquestionable.

Each invitation bore the golden emblem of spirit hall.

Each carried only a single line that mattered.

Three days laterDouluo Hall will be

opened. You are invited to witness

this monumental occasion.

Across the continent, the message travelled faster than wildfire.

Douluo hall.

These two words carried weight os immense it could shake the entire continent.

Seven treasure glazed tiles sect

In the main hall,

Sect master Ning fengzhi sat in the main seat, elegant and refined his face bearing a gentle smile, but his heart was in turmoil.

Sword douluo stood at his right, silent and sharp.

Bone douluo leaned lazily at his left, though his eyes betrayed vigilance.

The letter lay opened before them, the golden emblem on it shining softly under the light.

"Douluo hall..... after so many years, it's being opened again" bone douluo muttered.

Sword douluo eyes narrowed "if the douluo hall is opening it means only one thing"

"It means a new title douluo has appeared on the continent"

"And we haven't received any news from the other sects, so it must be someone from the spirit hall who has broken through."

Ning fengzhi spoke in a low almost inaudible voice.

"Spirit hall is already very powerfull, and now with a new title douluo appearing they will become more overbearing" sword douluo stated as a matter of fact.

"It seems a terrifying storm is approaching"

Big fengzhi sighed

"I don't know if my seven treasure glazed tile sect can survive it or not" he looked at the emblem of a pagoda and sighed again.

On the other side of the continent, the other two sects also shared this opinion.

Haotian sect

Spirit hall gaining a new title douluo was a matter of worry for them.

After tang chen, the pillar holding the clear sky sect left the clan and disappeared years ago, his whereabouts unknown, his son tang tian was the only title douluo left in the sect.

He had found hope in his sons who were away training at this time, as long as they reach title douluo realm the haotian sect will flourish once more.

They were just hope, but the letter that lay opened infront of his was reality, it was a slap to his face telling his to wake up from the glory of past and brave the future.

Three days later

Spirit city transformed.

It was divided into three sacred domains.

The pope's palace where the reigning pope lived.

The elder hall, where stayed the title douluo level elders of spirit hall.

And douluo hall, the most sacred and noble of them all.

It's said that the bodies of title douluo's were buried in it, to enter your must also be a title douluo.

Douluo hall was built on a large mountains top, cloud hiding it from the sight of people.

At the foot of the mountain a large plaza was created.

Delegation from across the continent were seated on it.

The upper three sects were seated together.

Ning fengzhi, yu yuanzhen and tang tian the three sects masters exchanged glances.

The pope himself was overseeing it.

Just as ling yun appeared, the ancient gates of douluo hall slowly opened.

A deep resonant sound echoed through spirit city. The surrounding plaza was illuminated in sacred light, and an invisible pressure descended upon the crowd - vast, solemn, untouchable. It was the aura of generations. The final resting place of almost all the title douluos.

This was no ordinary hall.

It was the sanctuary of legends.

Everyone present stood at once.

Sect masters. Elders. Cardinals. Even proud title douluos lowered there heads and bowed towards the douluo hall, offering their utmost respect.

After a moment of silence, crysenthemum douluo stepped forward. His robes embroidered with crysenthemum motifs, fluttered slightly in the spiritual wind, as he straitened and spoke clearly.

"Today, the continent witnesses the birth of a new title douluo,

Today , she shall ascend the stairs of douluo hall and carve her name among her predecessors."

His voice carried across the entire plaza.

A quiet wave of anticipation rippled through the gathered crowd.

Ling yun stood at the base of the stairs.

Her head held high.

She was dressed in golden robes embroidered with intricate phoenix motifs. The fabric shimmerd softly under the sacred light, neither overly dazzling not subdued - dignified, like a queen born to stand above the world.

Her expression was calm.

No arrogance.

No nervousness.

She took one step forward.

At that instant, light gathered beneath her feet.

A magnificent phoenix - vast and breathtaking - materialized as if woven from pure radiance. It's wings spread slowly, each feather shaped from flowing spiritual flame.

It didn't cry out.

It simply existed.

Sacred.

Eternal.

The Phoenix gently lifted her into the air, carrying her midair as she she began her ascent towards douluo hall.

Gasps echoed across the plaza. As she ascended, spirit rings bloomed from beneath her feet.

Three purple

Five black

And finally the ninth ring appeared.

Red

A blood red spirit ring.

Silence fell. Absolute silence.

A hundred thousand years spirit ring.

Even among title douluos , such a ring was rare beyond imagination.

Some finally understood the deeper truth.

This was not merely the birth of a new title douluo.

It was.the birth of a new pillar of spirit hall.

Finally ling yun entered the gates of douluo hall.

Where the seven priests were waiting for her.

She carved her name on the stone tablet bearing the name of title douluos of past.

And above the douluo hall a sharp and loud phoenix cry echoed throughout the spirit city.

A golden title appeared in the sky of spirit city.

"Sacred Phoenix Douluo"

The chants of sacred phoenix douluo echoed through the whole city.

Yin yue and Renxue watched the scene from douluo hall , away from the sight of ordinary people.

Yin yue smiled, Renxue looked proud.

It was the glory and might of spirit hall.
