Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 -Reborn

Chapter 1 – Reborn

Haruto Tanaka was the younger son of the Tanaka family. His father was a top businessman in Japan. His parents always compared him with his talented elder brother. Haruto always gave his all—at school and later in college—but in the end, he was never able to surpass his brother in talent or hard work.

His teachers always said, "Hard work can beat talent," but that was a lie. In some cases, hard work can beat talent, but in others, it cannot.

After completing college, Haruto was still unable to beat his brother in education, sports, or the business work his father gave him. Seeing this, his family began to distance themselves from him. From that moment, Haruto Tanaka's hellish life began.

He was discriminated against in many ways. Even the servants stopped caring about him. He began cooking his own food, washing his own clothes, and doing many other things by himself. He also started hearing many words around the mansion:

"Failure."

"Why is he even in this mansion?"

"Waste."

"Disgusting."

Later, Haruto started working at a café to earn money because his family stopped giving him any. But there was one thing that helped him escape reality—novels. He read them many times, and his favorite novel was called:

「The Creation」

This novel was about a hero and his sister—how they became heroes, faced difficulties and discrimination, and fought villains, mid-bosses, and others with their party.

Haruto loved this novel deeply, but the character he liked the most was not the hero.

It was the villain—the final boss.

His name was Lucien Morgrave.

Lucien decided to destroy the world and create a new one without discrimination. After Haruto finished reading the novel once again, he heard a knock at the door. It was a servant who worked under his father.

"Young master, your father is calling you to the working room," the servant said.

Haruto was shocked. After leaving his room, he went to his father's working room and knocked on the door. His father was waiting for him. At that moment, Haruto felt something was wrong.

"So, you've come," his father said coldly, continuing his work. When he looked at Haruto, disappointment filled his eyes.

"You are no longer a part of the Tanaka family. This family does not need a failure like you."

Haruto was shocked.

"Father, but Mother—"

"She also wants this," his father interrupted. "We have already decided. Leave this mansion now and never dare to come back."

His father's tone was extremely cold.

"What? Father… how could you—"

His father called security, and Haruto was thrown out of the mansion with nothing but a few clothes and a little money he had earned from working as a café waiter.

Tears did not fall from Haruto's eyes. He was simply shocked. Emptiness filled his heart.

He wandered the streets of Tokyo with nowhere to go. He had no friends. Now, he was completely alone.

Being alone did not hurt him as much as being abandoned by his family. At that moment, his dreams and ambitions were completely destroyed. He remembered how hard he had worked, yet everything was now meaningless. His eyes became lifeless—like those of a dead man with no dreams.

Lost in thought, Haruto crossed a red light.

BAM!

A truck hit him.

All sounds faded away. People around him shouted:

"Hey!"

"Hey! Are you okay?!"

Some called an ambulance and tried to keep him awake, but Haruto could not hear their voices. He knew what had happened—he had been hit by a truck. He felt no pain.

As his consciousness faded, he remembered his miserable life.

"This is all meaningless… that damn world… that damn family…" he muttered.

And then, he fell asleep.

Haruto felt cold water and falling rain. He opened his eyes.

"I'm still alive?" he whispered.

But this place did not look like a hospital.

"This is not Tokyo," Haruto said.

His body felt strange—small and weak. When he looked around, he saw a destroyed cart, several dead bodies, and blood covering the ground. The full moon shone as rain continued to fall.

Haruto tried to run, but his body was too weak. He collapsed, and darkness consumed him once again.

When he woke up, he thought it was a dream—but the scene was the same. He looked at his hands. They were small. His body was shorter. Even his voice had changed.

Calming himself, he walked to a nearby river and washed his face.

The reflection staring back at him was not his own.

Silver hair shining like moonlight.

Calm, sharp blue eyes.

A handsome face.

This face belonged to Lucien Morgrave, the final boss of 「The Creation」.

Haruto realized the truth—he had reincarnated into Lucien's body as a child.

Memories surfaced, haruto read this scene in novel, luicen when he was kid.

Bandits had attacked Lucien's village, killed the villagers, and kidnapped children to sell them. On the way to the Holy Solaris Empire, monsters attacked the bandits. Everyone died.

Everyone—except Lucien Morgrave.

Luicen backstory was incomplete and the writer of this novel never explain luicen backstory.

Now reborn as Lucien, Haruto didn't know what to do. He gathered what he could—some clothes, a few copper coins, and a little food—then left the area.

If his guess was right, the nearest place was the Solaris holy Empire.

And so, he began walking toward it.
