Haite stood at the edge of the building,watching over the distant towers.
The cold wind tugged at her coat as she slipped her cracked fingers back into her pockets.
Her eyes were sharp and alert,gleaming with quiet focus.
She forced her feet forward across the rooftop, stepping into the soft snow,moving toward the unfamiliar letter of Sen.
A silhouette emerged through the cold mist.
This was it—the person Sen had come to meet.
Their footsteps crunched against the snow as they closed the distance between them.
Their hands reached out,meeting in a firm handshake. Their thumbs brushed,the grip neither cold nor unkind.
Haite's lips twitched into a faint smile as she spoke,her
voice cutting through the wind.
"An ordinary meeting, on a cold and quiet night… shocking,isn't it?"
Sen nodded slowly.
The cold wind wrapped around them,but their hands felt warm.
A small light flickered across the sky as Haite's coat fluttered.
They released their grip and stood side by side,gazing up at the dark sky.
