Shinji said firmly,
"Jeisuke, do not use your visual powers against him. If you do, you're out of the team. Remember that."
Jeisuke and Akaimo stared into each other's eyes, completely serious.
They both rushed forward at the same time.
Their shoulders collided, and they started trying to overpower each other, pushing back and forth with pure strength.
Akaimo gritted his teeth.
"Stop acting confident already! Yeah, you beat Momoshimo… but that doesn't mean you'll beat me. You only won because you used eye abilities!"
Jeisuke snapped back,
"I used them because Shinji allowed it! And take this, Akaimo!"
Jeisuke swept Akaimo's legs. Akaimo crashed to the ground. Jeisuke could have popped the balloon right there—but he didn't. He just laughed, making Akaimo even angrier.
Akaimo shouted,
"Then try this!!"
He rushed in, swinging kicks and punches wildly. Jeisuke blocked every hit without effort, then drove his fist into Akaimo's stomach. Akaimo collapsed again.
He stood back up, breathing hard.
Jeisuke smirked.
"I didn't know you were this weak… pathetic."
Akaimo tried the same trick he used against Shino.
But Jeisuke caught him easily and slammed him near the edge of the circle.
"I could've tossed you out already," Jeisuke said coldly. "I just want everyone to see how much stronger I am than you."
Akaimo yelled, furious,
"You—!! AAAAAHH!"
He kicked Jeisuke's leg. Jeisuke didn't expect it, stumbled, and hit the ground—but he immediately bounced back up like nothing happened.
"Nice trick," Jeisuke said. "But it won't work twice."
He punched Akaimo hard in the chest. Akaimo dropped again. Before he could stand, Jeisuke grabbed him and threw him completely out of the circle.
Everyone froze.
Silence.
Then they all ran toward Akaimo at once.
He wasn't moving.
They called his name.
