Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: From Playground to Palace

In a playground, we see five students hanging around during lunch break. In the back side of the playground, there were five friends having fun. They were all good friends except for one basically, four of them were bullying that poor kid. Since they were in the back, in a mini forest area, no one could see them. The four bullies were strong looking, arrogant brats, and they were tormenting the poor soul named Eragon. The others were Max, Snow, Ben, and Rey.

At that moment, Eragon was really sad, crying while facing the ground, as the other four kicked and insulted him.

Max: "Aha! This loser brought only 50 euros today. How are we supposed to buy chips with this?"

Snow: "It's okay, boys. Eragon will bring more tomorrow, right, bro?" [Snow grabs Eragon's hair]

Ben: "Chill, guys. He did bring a nice lunch, though, so I think we should at least spare him for today and be happy with the 50! Hahaha."

Rey: "Yup, totally agree."

Meanwhile, Eragon, broken, cried quietly.

Eragon: "Why? Why does this happen to me? I didn't do anything wrong to anyone, but why only me? Why is there no one to help me? Everyone always turns a blind eye. Is there no one who can save me from this hell?"

As this was happening, suddenly the wind started blowing heavily, time seemed to stop, and a bright light appeared. A huge red circle appeared on the ground where all five of them were standing. Panicking, they suddenly disappeared, and everything went back to normal. In the distance, an owl who had seen everything flew away.

Now, all five of them were in a huge hall, physically unharmed but in shock.

Snow: "Wow! What was that? Where are we?"

Ben: "Weren't we just at the school playground, chilling?"

Rey: "Is this some kind of prank?"

Max: "Where the hell are we, man?"

While they panicked and tried to make sense of it, Eragon slowly went to the window and looked outside. He was shocked.

Eragon: "Guys, come and look at this!"

Everyone rushed to the window and couldn't believe what they were seeing. They froze in shock. The outside world was completely different huge walls, houses from ancient times, and three moons in the sky even though it was daytime.

When they turned to look around the hall, they saw massive pillars, enormous windows, and statues unlike anything they had ever seen.

Max: "Hey Eragon, do you have any idea where we are right now?"

For the first time, Max spoke to Eragon politely. Eragon, still shocked, replied

Eragon: "I really have no idea, Max , This all feels like a fantasy world."

Suddenly, the massive doors opened, and a group of people entered a king, a queen, a general, a princess, a mage, and a few knights. The mage greeted them.

Mage: "Welcome, heroes from another world. We have summoned you to help fight an evil force that will rise in the near future. The god appeared to me in a dream and taught me a ritual to summon heroes. As we see, my dream was true, and now you five heroes stand before us."

Everyone was in shock but listened carefully. The king spoke next.

King: "My dear heroes, I humbly ask for your help to stop the evil force that is about to emerge."

Snow: "I don't know what to say… this is so sudden. We're only fifteen years old. How do you expect us to fight an evil force?"

All four of the other kids agreed, but Eragon stayed quiet, watching everything.

Mage: "Worry not, heroes. Our god has blessed you with superhuman powers. You now possess super strength, speed, and many other abilities. You are far stronger than you were in your world. Now, you must learn about our world, our history, the evil forces, and most importantly… the Rings."
