The wind blew forcefully through the valley, whistling with a melody that moved Ariel.
The woman stretched her arms as the air blew and caressed her cheeks, making her scarlet hair, which was tied in two pigtails, dance.
The woman felt unprecedented inspiration, though she was easily inspired really.
Nature was perhaps the purest source of inspiration.
The woman spun around, making her white dress twirl.
It was a childish dress that resembled a "magical girl" cosplay.
However, she wasn't self-conscious about it. Quite the contrary, she was proud to wear that outfit.
"I feel like singing!" the woman affirmed as she kept spinning, in a beautiful dance.
As she did, birds began to sing, which encouraged her more.
However, in that instant, something broke that calm.
Which irritated the young woman quite a bit.
She had been fighting since she arrived at that trial and hadn't had time to enjoy that peace.
What resonated was a sound similar to what a plane makes.
A propelled object cutting through the air—definitely not good news.
"I suppose I'll have to keep fighting," the woman grumbled as she extended her hand.
A sphere of scarlet light formed in the palm of her hand, which deformed until it exploded.
As it did, a wand materialized in the air.
It was a quite ornate wand with a heart-shaped tip and soft wings protruding from it.
The woman grabbed it as she began humming a melody, and then something arrived before her.
It was a giant robot, a gray mecha with blue and gold decorations.
On its back it had metal wings and a jet pack which was active, holding the gigantic robot in the air.
"Shit, dealing with that thing won't be easy," the girl said as her red eyes, bright as two rubies, settled on the newcomer.
Around her, a musical staff began manifesting and dancing actively.
As that happened, pop music began playing in the background.
"Oh! But look what we have here. What's a little girl in costume doing in such a dangerous place?" a metallic voice from the mecha asked.
Ariel gritted her teeth hearing that. She hated being treated like a child.
"What the hell are you saying!?" the girl roared, stomping hard on the ground and pointing at the mecha with an accusing finger. "Who are you calling a little girl? And how dare you insult my outfit!? I'm not the one in a mecha."
Ariel responded angrily as her face turned red with rage.
The mecha crossed its arms as it laughed.
"HAHAHA! That's the reaction a little girl would have," the robot laughed, or rather, whoever was inside. "But hey, don't worry, I'd never leave a little kid in danger! Team up with me and I'll protect you."
The man assured.
His name was Jeremy, and while his attitude wasn't the most serious, he had certain principles.
However, that seemed to anger Ariel more. She clenched her fist tightly as she looked at the giant machine with contempt.
"Tch, men are always the same, always thinking about the same thing!" the girl assured with disgust. "I'm not a damsel in distress you need to go saving, you brute! Do you really think you can trick me to take advantage of me? Don't talk nonsense, scum. I'm not falling for your game."
She exclaimed angrily, brow furrowed.
At those words, the mecha waved its arms nervously.
"No! That's not my intention, woman. What do you think!?" he responded agitatedly. "Besides, there's no way I'd want to get close to a brat like you. I like real women! With lots of curves."
The robot assured as it drew the silhouette of a voluptuous woman with its hands in the air.
That blow to her ego only angered Ariel more, who was even redder now.
"Damn idiot!" she shouted as she pointed her wand at him. "[Explosive Heart]"
The redhead exclaimed.
As she did, a pinkish-red heart materialized in front of the wand and shot toward the mecha.
"Pfft, is that supposed to scare me?" the man asked mockingly.
In a dismissive gesture, the robot moved its hand as if trying to swat away a fly.
However, when the back of the mecha's hand came into contact with the heart, an explosion of color and heat of great magnitude occurred, leaving Jeremy bewildered.
"You shouldn't have laughed at me," Ariel assured as more dancing scores surrounded her.
A cheerful pop song was playing while her own voice sounded singing along with the melody.
However, it wasn't an Earth language but a magical chant.
That wasn't simply music. It was a song she herself had composed in another world.
However, both the music and the song were actually a magical ritual made to activate magic.
Her wand was capable of storing that music and reproducing it when necessary.
And the instant the song reached a certain point, Ariel could activate the spell.
Suddenly, hundreds of light flashes of all the colors of the rainbow manifested around the mecha.
"How do you like this song? [Rainbow Star Rain]," the girl asked as those light stars exploded.
It was a sequence of explosions as beautiful as it was dangerous.
The mecha received the explosion from hundreds of attacks without even being able to react.
At that moment, Jeremy began taking this seriously.
