Chapter 1 - THE ONE WHO FELL

FROM THE SKY

Chapter 1 – The One Who Fell

Two thousand six hundred years ago, the world was peaceful.

Nature thrived, birds sang freely, and humans lived in harmony with the land.

But far away from the ocean, inside a silent mountain cave, something unthinkable was happening.

A being lay on the cold stone floor.

He was neither human nor demon. His presence felt divine—like a god.

Yet his body was broken. His left arm was gone, and his left leg was shattered by an unknown enemy. Even the air inside the cave made him tense. He knew… he could not survive.

With his final strength, he began chanting in a forgotten language.

A mysterious sculpture slowly formed before him.

Into it, he poured everything—his power, his skills, his memories, and his hatred. He sealed them all inside the rock, binding them to fate itself.

"If someone touches this one day… let them inherit my will," he whispered.

"Let my revenge be fulfilled."

With that, the being who once destroyed planets with a thought took his final breath.

PRESENT DAY

The world was now ruled by the Holy Sky Guard Empire, under Emperor Vladimir VI, descendant of the great hero who had defeated the Demon King 1200 years ago.

A massive ritual was underway.

The empire sought to summon heroes from another world to end the Demon Lord forever.

Golden light covered the ritual chamber…

And five people vanished from their world.

Lux was sitting in a library when suddenly the floor shone gold.

Before he could even scream, he, along with four others, was transported into a grand secret chamber.

Before them stood royal magicians, the emperor himself, and behind him, the terrifying Royal Knight Captain—his aura overflowing with killing intent.

"Welcome, Heroes," the Head Magician said.

"Kneel before His Majesty."

Confusion filled their minds.

Where were they?

Was this even real?

A green magic circle appeared, and knowledge flooded into them—explaining everything. They had been summoned to defeat the Demon Lord.

Slowly, one by one, they knelt.

Skar, the tall and sharp-looking boy.

Roy, his clever and calm friend.

Albert, a serious man in his forties.

Only two remained standing—

Lux, and a beautiful girl named Alya.

The Emperor told them to rise and explained the world's crisis. With no way to return home, they agreed to help.

STATUS REVALUATION

The magicians opened their status windows.

Skar possessed the rare Sword Spirit.

Even the Knight Captain smiled—he had found a successor.

Roy had Dark Magic Affinity, shocking the royal mages.

Albert possessed Fire Magic and the Berserk skill.

Alya had Light Magic and a Holy Trait—a future Holy Maiden.

Then came Lux.

Only basic stats.

One skill:

Sculpture Info Data Programming

A skill of an archaeologist.

No magic.

No combat ability.

The room went silent.

Pity filled every gaze.

Alya smiled gently at Lux.

"Don't worry. We'll defeat the Demon Lord. You can stay safe."

Lux nodded… but inside, something broke.

THE BETRAYAL

One week passed.

Lux was treated like trash. Even the servants looked down on him.

One night, two guards came.

"We need your sculpture skill."

They took him to the Mountain of Death, a place filled with mist, dark energy, and countless caves.

Then they laughed.

"We're betting how long you'll survive."

An arrow pierced Lux's arm.

Another hit his leg.

More struck his back.

Bleeding and in agony, Lux threw himself into a collapsing cave. The soldiers laughed and left.

Inside the darkness, Lux crawled toward a strange dark-blue cloth.

When he touched it—

A glowing hand pierced his chest.

THE AWAKENING

Lux woke in endless darkness.

Then knowledge flooded him.

He saw the ancient god… the sealed power… the hatred.

A red jewel floated before him.

"Accept me," it said.

"I will give you power… in exchange for revenge."

Lux smiled.

"Deal."

More than a thousand abilities entered his body.

Fifty seals locked his true power.

Only one opened.

Two skills gained.

Cooking.

Wood Chopping.

Lux laughed.

Even fate was mocking him.

But he walked out of the cave.

The sun rose.

And with blood on his face, Lux looked to the sky.

"I will kill them all."
