Chapter 36 - The Culprit Revealed: Leroy and the Blue Bull

The search for the missing stock had stretched for hours, with the store team scouring every aisle, shelf, and corner. Nyx had practically vibrated with excitement the entire time, bouncing from stack to stack, occasionally flinging a stray can of noodles in the air and catching it like a Beybroll master. Vario's shadows slithered along the shelves, probing the floor for traces of chaos, while Yuwen traced faint magical residues that marked the thief's path. Bella perched above, scanning ceilings, ducts, and corners, her dagger gleaming faintly under the fluorescent lights.

At last, near the very back of the stockroom, Nyx froze mid-bounce. Her eyes widened. "I can feel it! The chaotic energy… it's here!"

Vario's crimson eyes followed the faint traces of magic, coiling and pulsing along the floor. "Good. Stay alert. Whoever took this is clever, but sloppy enough to leave subtle signs. Be prepared for surprises."

Bella shifted silently onto a top shelf, crouching like a predator. "I've got eyes on every angle. Whoever it is won't escape without me noticing."

Yuwen's tail twitched, her ears perked. "There's something… familiar about this energy. Not malicious, just… reckless. Someone who doesn't usually steal, but gave in to temptation."

Then came the sound of soft shuffling from behind a stack of boxes.

"Uh… hey guys…"

The voice made everyone freeze. Out stepped Leroy, sheepishly holding a half-empty can of Blue Bull energy drink. His normally confident grin was replaced by an awkward, guilty smile. "I… may have borrowed a few cans. I just… wanted to try it. I didn't think it would cause… this."

Nyx's jaw dropped so hard it nearly hit the floor. "Wait… you're the thief?!"

Vario's crimson eyes narrowed, his aura darkening with a mix of irritation and disbelief. "Leroy… you infiltrated our stockroom? Without permission?"

Leroy shrugged, clearly embarrassed. "I didn't think it would be a big deal. I just wanted to taste the Blue Bull… it looked interesting."

Feria's face paled as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Curiosity? Curiosity costs inventory! Do you have any idea how much chaos you've caused in this store?"

Bella landed softly from the shelf, smirking. "Of course it's Leroy. I should've known the energy drink would be too tempting for him. And he did it with… style, almost stealthily."

Yuwen flicked her tail and muttered, "Amateur magic traces? Check. Sloppy energy trail? Check. Culprit caught red-handed with the evidence? Definitely Leroy."

Nyx spun dramatically, arms in the air, voice booming. "Brainrot mystery solved! The legendary energy drink thief is none other than Leroy! Chaos, curiosity, and Blue Bull all wrapped in one!"

Leroy raised both hands in surrender. "Okay, okay! I admit it! But… seriously, it's delicious! You guys have to try it!"

Vario's shadows pulsed around him, twitching like living tendrils. "You will pay for this… but I will temper my response this time. Next time, it won't just be a warning."

Feria groaned, furiously scribbling notes on her clipboard. "I don't know whether to fire you, confiscate all your Blue Bull, or both. Inventory management is already chaotic enough without theft."

Bella chuckled, twirling her dagger lazily. "Honestly, I'm impressed. Sneaking in without triggering every magical trap or alarm in this store? That takes skill… and sheer audacity. You've earned my grudging respect."

Nyx clapped her hands, practically vibrating with excitement. "This is perfect! Chaos, brainrot, Blue Bull, theft… it's a masterpiece! Leroy, you've single-handedly upgraded this store to legendary status!"

Leroy just groaned, shaking his head, half amused, half exasperated. "I really just wanted to taste the energy drink…"

Vario's shadow swept forward, curling protectively around the stockroom and the team. "Next time, there will be no taste tests without explicit permission. Do I make myself clear?"

Leroy nodded, sheepishly. "Crystal clear."

Nyx spun once more, raising her arms dramatically. "And now… with the mystery solved, we can continue our chaos! Brainrot, chaos, and Blue Bull-fueled adventures await us!"

Feria let out a long, exhausted sigh. "I swear… managing this store has turned into a battle in itself. And now… thanks to Leroy, it's chaos squared."

Bella laughed softly, sipping from her whiskey, watching Leroy carefully put the Blue Bull back in the recovered stock. "Well… at least he didn't break anything else. Yet."

The fluorescent lights hummed quietly, casting long shadows across the shelves. The missing stock had been found, the thief revealed, and the convenience store slowly returned to its usual rhythm of absurdity and chaos. But everyone knew—this was only one chapter in a long series of unpredictable adventures.

Even Vario allowed a small smirk. "This… might actually be fun."

Nyx bounced on her toes, eyes gleaming. "Fun, chaos, brainrot… and Blue Bull! Life is perfect!"

And somewhere among the shelves and scattered cans, the team prepared for the next inevitable disaster, knowing full well that in a store run by heroes, demons, and brainrot enthusiasts, chaos was always just around the corner.
