Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Feria, Stock Manager

The next morning, the convenience store was buzzing—or, more accurately, trembling—with anticipation. Somehow, the news of the Elf Queen's return had spread faster than spilled soda.

Feria, elegant as ever, floated behind the counter, her crown slightly tilted to one side. She carried a clipboard, a pen tucked neatly behind her ear, and a faint aura of authority that made even the Demon King pause mid-sip of his Blue Bull.

"Attention," Feria announced, her voice ringing like chimes. "I have assessed the state of this store, and it is unacceptable. From this moment forward, I am your new Stock Manager."

Nyx squealed in delight. "Yesss! Authority and chaos combined! This is going to be fun!"

Bella groaned, arms crossed. "You realize this means you'll boss all of us around, right?"

Feria tilted her head, green eyes gleaming. "Indeed. It is my duty to organize, optimize, and ensure that every shelf, every can, and every noodle cup is in proper order. No exceptions."

The Demon King frowned, tapping his Blue Bull on the counter. "Even I… am slightly intimidated."

Yuwen muttered under her breath, "Finally… someone with sense."

Feria began her inspection immediately. She floated to the snack aisle, gently adjusting a stack of chips. "Arthos, these magazines are crooked by half a centimeter. Correct this."

Arthos blinked, holding the magazines like a sword. "Half a… centimeter?"

"Yes. Precision is everything," Feria replied, tapping her clipboard. "Kael, your shelf angles are… inefficient. Adjust them by 2.3 degrees."

Kael began muttering calculations under his breath, scribbling furiously on his notebook.

Nyx bounced around, offering Pokémon cards as "inventory suggestions." "See? This one's rare! It counts as… premium stock!"

Feria raised an eyebrow. "Nyx, cease distracting the staff. Focus on proper organization."

Bella sighed, slumping against a display. "Retail hell just got royal supervision. This is going to be worse than night shifts."

The Demon King shuffled to the back, muttering to himself. "I rule kingdoms… but somehow, I respect her authority."

Feria moved through the aisles with effortless grace, checking expiration dates, stacking products perfectly, and silently correcting everyone's sloppy work. Even the soda towers, once precarious, now stood like tiny fortresses under her supervision.

"Efficiency is power," she announced, floating above the central aisle. "Chaos is no longer acceptable."

Nyx whispered to Bella, grinning. "I don't know… this sounds like fun chaos waiting to happen."

Bella just groaned. "I survived dungeons, demon armies, and backstabbers… and now I will survive… shelves."

The store may have been under new management, but chaos had a way of sneaking in—and everyone knew that with Nyx and the drunken heroes around, order would never last long.

Feria, the Elf Queen, had taken the throne of the stockroom—and the battle for retail dominance had officially begun.
