I did not know how to react in a moment like this because it might only prove him right, and I did not want that. My thoughts went deep as I tried to think of something to answer him or at least shift his attention.
"My legs are not hairy because I had a hair laser before resuming," I lied, not knowing if he would believe me. "Don't you get lasers?"
"No," he answered, a quick frown settling on his face.
"I also used to have bigger thighs than this because I was born fat," I told another lie that I was not supposed to tell. "The gym made me look like this."
"Are you serious?" Ash asked, chuckling. I nodded with a fake smile and he continued, "I am just getting worried for nothing. You looked soft and like you might drop dead anytime soon, yet you have so much strength and confidence."
"Do I look that bad?" My eyes widened. Appearing weak would make the boys suspicious of me.
"Yes, you do," Ash replied as he stood up from the floor and went into the bathroom.
