ROXANNA.
"What am I supposed to do without Trystan on the bus?" I asked, standing in front of the white-haired woman. She looked at me like I was dirt, but I refused to let that break me.
"I have no idea," Lady Melissa said, crossing her arms with a small smile. She had known this would happen, and that was why she paired me with that useless Prince. "If I were you, I would ask to get down."
Whispers spread through the bus. The students were shocked by her words, but she did not care. Lady Melissa had always had a problem with me, but she never said it out loud, so I never knew the reason.
This was more than a teacher disliking a student. I had done nothing to her since the day we met.
"It's not fair that I get Prince Trystan on my first day," I said, my voice shaking with anger. "I am a transfer student. I need good grades or I might get expelled."
