Kai looked at the quest he was given. Normally, having his viewership above 200 constantly would be a very difficult task, but now it wasn't looking too hard. He was sure if he showed some good stuff, his viewership would surely increase.
"Get out of your head, Kai. The best way to ensure you keep growing is to not focus on the growth, focus on doing what you can do as best as you can," he told himself. He needed to keep himself grounded and not shoot expectations through the roof.
"I shouldn't check my new skills with the viewers there though. Maybe when I end the stream I can. Now I should look for what next to do."

[Special mission: Head to the edge of the forest and aid the girl with the red hair]
"Whoa, I just got a special quest from killing the merchant," Kai said, his eyes shining at the sight of the mission.
[LordGooner143: haha, my advice to kill the merchant actually brought you good]
[Savage-Rider22: what type of quest is it?]
"It's a special quest," Kai replied.
[Savage-Rider22: whoa, that means you are the first to unlock this quest, and after this no one can get it again]
Kai was excited about the quest. Gaining something that no other player had, this could give him a very good advantage going forward.
Very quickly, he headed out of the starter town. The forest was located outside the town.
He got out of the starter town, and the forest was ahead.
[Crimson_Devil: where the hell are you going, you haven't even registered as an adventurer]
[Goldtoy: does bro even know how to play the game?]
[Savage-Rider: chill, he is probably trying to find the special quest he got]
[Crimson_Devil: Savage-Rider, he better find it quick, because I'll leave if this stream gets boring.]
Kai ignored the chat and focused on finding the girl. The game said at the edge of the forest, so when he got there, he started looking around, but there was no one there. Then suddenly, a loud growl ripped through the air.
Kai looked in the direction of the growl, and he saw birds flying away in a panic. Then a shadow formed in the distance, heading in his direction very fast.
He took a step back, gripping his sword and watching, fear rising inside him slowly. But after a moment, what burst out of the forest was a little girl no more than twelve. She had purple hair and eyes, dressed in what used to be casual town clothes, as they were now torn, her body bruised.
Kai also noticed that under her hair, she had longer than normal ears, but the ears were not long enough to be elves.
"Help me!" she screamed. Her face said it all. She was scared out of her mind, running in a panic.
Kai wondered what could be the reason she was running. His question was answered almost instantly as a wolf burst out of the forest, a meter long, teeth bared as it lunged forward, fur pushed back by the wind.
"Oh shit," Kai cursed. He gripped his sword tight. His mind screamed for him to run instantly, but the girl was there, about to be caught by the wolf.
Gritting his teeth, he charged ahead to save her. He reached the girl and immediately pulled her behind him while at the same time slashing down at the wolf, his sword cutting into the side of its cheek, spilling blood onto the ground.
In that moment, the HP bar of the wolf showed, as well as its level. It was a level five Grey Wolf, and the attack had only chipped out a little bit of life from it.
Kai was stunned. He took a few steps back as the wolf came to a stop. It shook its head in pain and then locked eyes with the person that had attacked it. It let out a growl, filled with anger, ready to rush at Kai.
Kai lifted his sword and held a stance. He wanted his figure to be as imposing as possible, and maybe the wolf would back down.
[Crimson_Devil: bro is done for.]
[LordGooner143: should have taken my advice and spent the money somewhere else, now you about to die]
Kai gritted his teeth. He couldn't even take his eyes off the wolf for a second, because then he would die.
"Tch, what do I do now? Do I use the skills I gained from the system? No, I'll have to still learn those skills regardless, there isn't enough time."
With so much thought running through his mind, the wolf lunged forward. Kai had no choice but to swing for the attack, but the next moment, the wolf seemed to start moving in slow motion toward Kai.
"What's happening?" he asked in shock. He glanced behind him and saw that the girl had her hands stretched out, and some sort of spell was being cast on him.
[Buff spell has been cast on player: all senses heightened, perception increased by 100%, damage increased by 100%]
Kai was stunned by the message, but there was no time to dwell on it. He quickly moved forward, slashing with all his might. His sword dug into the side of the wolf, blood splashed out like a fountain, and half of the wolf's health bar dropped instantly.
The wolf collapsed to the ground, whimpering in pain. Blood leaked onto the ground, causing a constant reduction in life.
The wolf struggled back to its feet to fight again, but Kai rushed at it for the second time, and this time he went for the head. His sword slashed right through the head of the wolf, killing it.
