I had no idea how most women looked sane after a child.
I didn't want nannies. Mrs. Vine was helping, quite alright, but I wanted to be there for my children.

I fixed Elena's seatbelt over her baby carrier, pushed her pink headband back in place, before shutting the door behind them with a soft click.
Children were adorable…beautifully so.
But I was sure I was going to go nuts if I heard one more 'mummy.'
I circled the car, got in, and did one final check behind me before turning the keys in the ignition.
I sighed, strapped my seatbelt into place, and rolled the car out of the parking lot.
"Mommy," Arthuro bellowed, his voice commanding, with all the seriousness of an upcoming heir.
