Chapter 1 - Transportation

"This is it! The last chapter!"

A young man held onto his phone tightly not paying attention to the people giving him weird looks.

His brown hair ruffled with the air, his blue eyes full of excitement.

"Here…it is chapter 4500!"

He pressed on his phone frantically, "Just shut up and take money! You stupid app!"

His fingers were scrolling down slowly as his eyes were fully locked onto the text.

After a while he closed his phone and put it into his pockets and slowly began walking without saying another word and this continued till he reached his home.

"Ah! Welcome back Roy, how was today's work?"

"It..went well..mom" His voice was raspy and shaky.

"What happened? Did you get scolded?" Roy's mother asked looking at her son's bad mood.

"Its nothing just the novel I had been reading ended and…Let's just not talk about it for now"

"Are you serious?" His mother asked dumbfounded as she sighed a little, "Is it that shadow slave thing again? You will find another one of those novels. Why are you so upset?"

Roy didn't say another word and went upstairs.

"Seriously, what is up with him?" His mother sighed again pondering on why her son was so obsessed with that novel.

Roy didn't eat anything until his stomach began to cry for sometime to eat at midnight so he got up to eat something.

He slowly made his way downstairs trying his best not to wake his parents. He saw that there was some food on the counter covered by aluminium to pervert heat from escaping and on the side there was a note.

Roy picked it up and began to read with a low voice, "Dear son you are stupid for acting like a child hope you enjoy the food"

He smiled a bit and ate the food in an instant as he was starving.

When he went back upstairs he saw something strange. His phone was on even though he had turned it off?

"Huh?" He picked it up from the table and looked at his screen. It was blank. Then where was the light coming from?

Then a sudden burst of light blinded him, "What the hell!"

It took him a while before he could open his eyes again but this time he wasn't in his room.

Instead he was now floating or that is what it felt like to him as now he couldn't see as it was pitch black.

'Where am I!?' He thought to himself as he couldn't speak.

He went quiet for a while pondering on something, 'Am I dead? Did the food poison me or something!? Or do you die when you eat at midnight?'

'No but all jokes a side where the actual fuck am I!' He began panicking.

It was about then he could hear a voice..

[ Welcome Sleeper Roy! Your first nightmare is about to begin..]

'What?' He couldn't process anything and the next thing he knew was he was on some stairs leading to somewhere.

In front of him stood a castle, a magnificent, radiant fortress that stands in stark.

Roy turned back and shivered as he noticed a ruined city behind him.

He rub his eyes and even pinched himself to check if he was still asleep but he really wasn't! This was real.

'No..way...' He didn't dared to speak a loud.

It was then he heard a loud sound that came from the city.

He quickly began to make his way up the stairs leading to the outskirts.
