Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Axel and Olivia

Craze: This is the second series of MARVEL I AM DRAGON GOD.

...

The long, black limo pulled up to the front of Bayville High School.

It looked very fancy compared to the other cars.

Axel Morningstar stepped out first.

He had a wild and big smile on his face.

He was handsome and cool. He loved being around people who were not assholes.

Behind him, his sister Olivia stepped out quietly.

She kept her head down, her dark hair covering her face a little.

They lived in a huge luxurious mansion. Their father, Arthur Leywin Stark, was away.

He and their twenty-eight mothers were in a different universe to fix a big problem.

Their Great Grandpa Stan Lee took them to his multiverse to raise them himself.

He would oversee them so they would not destroy anything accidentally.

Their father told them that being a god is not just about strength.

Axel could burn the God Great Sun to ashes with his God Fire.

Olivia could erase the entire solar system with her Void Power.

But right now, they just needed to be students.

"Ready for a fun day, sister?"

Axel asked, adjusting his jacket.

"I just want to find a quiet place,"

Olivia whispered.

As they walked toward the school doors, they both felt a strange "poke" in their minds.

It was like someone was trying to open a heavy locked door.

Axel stopped.

He didn't feel any evil or hate. He just felt... curiosity and a bit of pain.

"Did you feel that?"

"Yes,"

Olivia said.

"Someone is searching. But they are struggling."

They followed the feeling. In the hallway, they saw a girl with red hair.

She was sitting on a bench, holding her head. She looked like she had a bad headache.

This was Jean Grey. She was a telepath.

Usually, she could hear everyone's thoughts like a loud radio. But when she tried to "hear" Axel and Olivia, she heard nothing.

It was like listening to a solar fire storm and the deepest depth of the void at the same time.

It hurt her mind.

Axel walked up to her.

"Hey, are you okay? Why don't you stop listening to people's minds?"

Jean looked up, sweating.

"I... I'm sorry. I can't turn it off."

Olivia stepped forward.

She understood the need of silence better than anyone.

She reached out and touched Jean's shoulder.

Olivia used a tiny bit of her Void Power—not to destroy, but to create a "Quiet Zone" around Jean's mind.

Suddenly, the voices in Jean's head stopped. The school became peaceful.

Jean gasped and took a deep breath.

"It's quiet. How did you do that?"

Olivia gave a small, rare smile.

"I just gave you some space. My name is Olivia. This is my idiot brother, Axel."

"I'm Jean,"

The girl said, finally standing up.

"Thank you. I've never felt this much peace before."

Axel grinned.

"See, Olivia? We're already making friends. This school thing might be easy after all."

Jean smiled at them. She looked much better now.

"Are you new here too?"

She asked.

"Yes,"

Axel said, giving her a thumbs up.

"We just arrived. Do you want to walk with us?"

"I would love that,"

Jean said. She felt safe near them.

Usually, people's minds were messy and loud. But Axel felt like a warm summer day, and Olivia felt like a cool, dark room.

Both of them suppressed their power to the level Jean would feel comfortable.

They would never want to hurt their first friend.

Jean became their very first friend at Bayville High, and they were her first friends too.

As they walked into the main hall, a tall woman with beautiful white hair was waiting for them.

This was Ororo Munroe, one of the teachers.

She looked at the siblings with serious eyes. Her boss, Professor Charles Xavier, had sent her a private message earlier. He told her,

"Keep a close watch on the Morningstar children. They are at least Omega Level mutants, maybe even stronger."

"Welcome to Bayville,"

Ororo said.

"I am Ms. Munroe. I will show you to your classes."

Axel looked around. He saw books, desks, and students sitting still.

He felt bored already. Olivia, however, looked at the library and felt happy.

The morning classes started, and they were very different for the siblings.

For Olivia, class was like heaven.

She loved sitting in the back, staying quiet, and reading.

Her high intelligence made the lessons easy, and she enjoyed the peace.

For Axel, class was like a cage. He hated sitting still.

He wanted to run, jump, or fight a giant monster.

By the third hour, Axel leaned over to Olivia.

"I can't take it anymore,"

He whispered.

"Everything is so slow. What if I use a tiny bit of my God Fire to set off the fire alarm? Or maybe just burn the whole roof off? Then we can go home early!"

Axel's hand started to glow with a bright, hot orange light.

The air in the room started to get very warm.

But before a single spark could fly, Olivia reached out. She didn't even look up from her book.

A small swirl of purple Void Power appeared around Axel's hand. In a second, it sucked away all the heat and light.

The fire was gone. The air became cool again.

Axel looked at his empty hand and pouted. He crossed his arms and looked at the ceiling.

"You're no fun,"

He grumbled.

"You're only ten seconds younger than me, but you act like a teacher."

Olivia turned a page in her book.

"We are here to learn how to be normal, Axel. Setting the school on fire is not normal."

Axel sighed.

He knew she was right, but he still wished something exciting would happen.
