Synopsis
After a sudden twist of fate, a modern-day CEO finds herself trapped in the body of the pampered daughter of a powerful general in ancient times. Though her new life appears luxurious, the palace teems with hidden dangers—family rivalries, political schemes, and enemies lurking in every shadow. Armed with her modern intelligence, sharp wit, and unshakable determination, she must navigate treacherous court politics, win allies, and protect those she cares about. But her ultimate goal remains clear: to rewrite her destiny and exact revenge on those who destroyed her family in her original life. In a world where power is currency and trust is rare, she will rise not as a mere daughter of privilege, but as a force no one dares underestimate.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

In a sleek, high rise building with floor to ceiling windows, expensive furnitures, screens everywhere, hands on her keyboard replying emails, the hum of the city below, phones ringing and her assistant moving quickly sat Lianhua Wei. A Ceo and a businesswoman with ambitions, intelligence and a no nonsense attitude.

Lianhua scrolled through emails, each one a reminder of another competitor trying to take her down. Her apartment would be empty tonight, as always, the city lights mocking her solitude.

Lost her family at Eight, thrown into an orphanage by her aunt, mistreated, beaten and starved. She ran away, started begging on the streets, used the money she gathered from scraps to pay her tuition. Finally made it to the forces list of billionaires at the young age of 28.

Every day, the same cycle—office, meetings, emails, and back to her lonely apartment. No family. No friends. Just her and the empire she'd built.

'Morning, Miss Wei. You wanted to see me?' her assistant asked, balancing a stack of reports.

Lianhua Wei read the reports, sipping her coffee, and told her assistant with a commanding tone: "I don't care about the profit dip—fix it by tomorrow." "Yes, Miss," came the prompt reply. She stood, packed her things, and left the office, heels clicking against the polished floor, aura of power intact.

She got into her car and drove off the parking lot. But on the bridge, disaster struck: an oil tanker exploded without warning. Lianhua didn't have time to react. The impact threw her across the seat, glass and fire scattering around her. The city below blurred, lights flickering like stars in the night. For the first time in her life, Lianhua felt completely powerless. Then… everything went black.
