I struggled to sit up a little and Anita came running to the side of the bed and piled pillows behind my back. I had no idea where she got those pillows from but I don't care since they worked.
"Thank you, Anita." I thanked her and by now, I had stopped asking her to leave because obviously, she won't listen.
I decided to just observe her and find out what she was up to as time went by.
People always reveal their true colors eventually.
"Don't worry about it." Anità replied then went back to the sofa.
I took the laptop Karl had given me and once I looked at it carefully, I realized that it wasn't some old laptop he had picked up from somewhere to appease me. It was actually a new laptop.
It wasn't the expensive kind with high-tech specs but it was a good machine.
