"Wow! You guys already interned with heroes? That's amazing!" Melissa had stars in her eyes as she listened to her new friends' experiences during their one week internship.
"I guess... All I did was help evacuate some people." Jiro laughed a little. "Sukuna and Izuku were the ones that were actually thrown into combat situations."
"I've heard all about it." Melissa nodded, adjusting her glasses a little. "When I saw that a bunch of guys younger than me disregarded orders to save people, not caring about the consequences, I was inspired ya know? After watching you two, I had made my decision to work harder to become a scientist." Melissa held up her fist in determination. Sukuna and Izuku only smiled a little.
"Your orders are here." Suddenly, the drinks they ordered was speedily served before them in the blink of an eye.
"And here is your order, mademoiselle." Jiro widened her eyes, noticing that the waiter looked familiar.
"D-denki?!" She shouted in shock, staring at the man wearing an elegant black and white waiter's outfit. Denki smirked at her.
"Surprised? Camp's a week away, and when I saw that a cafe here in I-Island needed some extras hands for the expo, I applied. And let me tell ya, they pay real good." Denki gave them a thumbs up.
"So that's why you were being so shady yesterday..." Jiro grumbled in annoyance, remembering back to way Denki texted last night after she told him she was going to I-Island with Momo. Denki laughed, before leaning towards her a little.
"Gotta go now, I'll catch you later. Chu~"
"DENKI!" Jiro shouted with a horrified face as Denki gently kissed her cheek before dashing away as fast as he could, not wanting to face her wrath.
"Denki when I find you Denki..." She growled to herself, while the rest laughed at her expression.
"For him to be doing that, looks like a lot of things happened on that mall date huuuh..." Mina smirked slyly at her friend.
"Quiet Mina! I'll kill you!"
"You're starting to sound like Bakugo." Uraraka commented while giggling. The girls continued chatting, slowly sipping away their drinks while Izuku and Sukuna, who didn't order any drinks, stepped away for a moment, leaving the girls alone but not out of their sight.
"Wasn't All Might with you?" Sukuna asked, as they stood near a metal railing, both overlooking the colorful residential district.
"Oh, he's just catching up with Mr David." Izuku replied. Both teens stared in silence before Izuku brought up another topic.
"You should go see I-Island Academy sometime soon, Sukuna. It's as big as UA, if not even bigger!" He exclaimed. Sukuna hummed.
"Sure." Izuku stared at him before smiling.
"You know, Sukuna, you try to hide it a lot, but it's like what Mina said before..." Sukuna glanced at him as Izuku continued. "When someone takes a look at your eyes, they can tell what you're feeling. And right now, you're actually estatic to be here, especially with all of us, right?" Sukuna stared at him silently, before snorting.
"Mina talks too much." He grumbled. Izuku only laughed. He wasn't wrong, technically Sukuna was what you call a nerd. The island's academy was one of his top places to visit when he arrived, wanting to discover and interact with the various technologies he never got to in UA.
This trip is only getting better, he just hoped there wasn't someone out there trying to ruin it.
Just then, they heard an explosion from afar.
"What was that?" Izuku asked.
"Oh, that's probably the Villain Attack Attraction." Sukuna replied calmly, before glancing at Izuku.
"Wanna go check it out?"
...
"Why the hell are you two here?!" Bakugo, having just completed the time trial, shouted at the two.
"Why the hell are you here?" Sukuna returned the question.
"The principal wanted me to go to represent UA." Bakugo grumbled. Sukuna glanced at the scoreboard, noticing Bakugo's name on the top.
"First place huh?" He grinned at the blonde.
"Let's change that."
...
"So that's where they ran off to." Uraraka sighed, watching Izuku destroy the robots in a time trial challenge. Melissa silently stared at the green haired boy, in deep thought.
"Oh, Iida. You're here too?" Momo greeted the teen who nodded, having just approached them.
"Yes, actually my whole family was invited, but they were all busy, so I am here representing them." Iida explained, noticing that Izuku cleared the bots, his time the exact same with Bakugo's.
"Oi! That timer must be malfunctioning or something!!" Bakugo yelled at the announcer, shaking the metal railing as he did so.
"Oh? Todoroki's here too?" Jiro blinked, noticing the half and half man calmly walking to the stage.
"He must be representing Endeavor..." Momo whispered, staring at Todoroki who cleared the bots in 14 seconds, a second earlier than Bakugo and Izuku's time. Mina playfully elbowed Momo.
"Looks like someone here's happy to see him. Muehehe!"
"Mina!" Momo glared at her, adorning a small blush on her cheeks.
"They're all in your class?" Melissa asked as they nodded in response. "Wow, you guys are really amazing huh? Such control over your quirks, as expected of future heroes."
"Oh you don't have to say it like that." Uraraka laughed, embarrassed at Melissa's praise.
"Hello everyone." Todoroki waved at them a little as he approached.
"Oi! You half and half bastard! Ya think you're cool or something, suddenly appearing like that, huh?!" Bakugo shouted, while Kirishima Iida and Izuku restrained him, though they were struggling to do so.
"Hello Momo." Todoroki greeted her, completely ignoring Bakugo who only got angrier.
"O-oh, hello Todoroki." Momo smiled, waving back a little. Mina, Jiro and Uraraka all stared at them, suspicion in their eyes.
'He already greeted us all, but then he greeted Momo. I know they have something going on but I can't prove it.' Jiro thought to herself. Todoroki glanced at them, tilting his head.
"What's wrong, is there something on my face?"
" Nothing!"
"Sukuna, you still haven't given it a go yet." Melissa commented, noticing that he hadn't said anything.
"Oh... I already tried it. You guys hadn't arrived at that time." Sukuna tilted his head towards the scoreboard. Melissa saw that he ranked first, and had cleared the bots in under 10 seconds too.
"Wow..." She whispered in amazement.
"You okay?" Mina asked, placing a gentle hand on his back. Sukuna gave a somewhat reassuring smile.
"I'm fine, just a little lost in thought." He then looked at the group.
"The reception party is at 7 right? It's almost 5:30 right now, so why not we go and get dressed? Then we gather at Lobby 7 of the Central Tower at 6:30, how does that sound?" He asked them, to which they agreed without any problems.
"Bakugo? Are you coming or not?" Iida asked him. Bakugo shrugged.
"Yeah yeah whatever, just don't expect me to clap like an idiot when those old men make their speeches." He stomped off afterwards.
"Well, he's enthusiastic." Melissa laughed a little.
"Melissa, are you able to give out any more invites to the reception party?" Sukuna asked. She nodded at his question.
"You guys go give one to Denki. I'm sure a certain someone here would be quite happy when she has someone to dance with later." Sukuna took glanced at Jiro who looked away in response. Melissa gave him an 'ok' sign.
"You got it!"
...
"Hey! No peeking!" Mina shouted after stepping out of the bathroom, with a towel wrapped around her body. Sukuna covered his eyes, a smirk on his face, having already looked at her for quite a few seconds. And man, was she smoking hot.
"At least I got a glimpse of it."
"Pervert!" Mina pouted as she started drying her hair with her hair dryer. She suddenly glared at Sukuna.
"I see you putting down your hand, babe!"
"No I wasn't." He lied.
"I swear if I don't tell you to cover your eyes, you're just going to jump me. I'm not gonna be late to the gathering because of your tricks." She ranted.
"Does that mean you actually want me to jump you?" A silence reigned.
"No comment!" Mina shouted, a blush on her face as she slid into her undergarments her pure white dress.
"You can look now." Sukuna lowered his hand as he took a look at her. His eyes widened, as he stared at what looked like an angel, a pink one to be specific.
"Wow...." He muttered. Mina giggled, noticing that he was mesmerized. She cupped his face, gently squishing it.
"Now it's your turn to change, handsome."
....
"I must say. You look handsome, Sukuna!" Iida greeted Sukuna as the pink haired boy exited the elevator hand in hand with Mina. Sukuna had on a black and white suit, and sunglasses with orange lens.
"If you two were on a red carpet, I'm sure all eyes would be on the both of you." Iida complimented with a smile, finding the couple before him extremely fashionable.
Sukuna snorted a little while Mina laughed. "Where are the rest?" He then asked, noticing that only Todoroki, Iida and Denki were here, all in their own suits. Denki had it made last minute at a store, with the fashion advice of Iida and Todoroki.
"I have no idea." Iida sighed. "The girls I can understand, but Midoriya's running late which is so unlike him. Did we not agree to go in together as a group? We're going to be late at this point!" He stated angrily, his arms chopping robotically. As he finished his sentence, the elevator behind them made a chiming noise.
"Sorry guys!" Izuku came dashing out while apologizing. Sukuna blinked, observing the green haired boy's outfit.
'Huh, so he does have a sense of style after all.' He thought silently. From the amount of times he's seen him in casual clothing, usually it would be a t-shirt with some weird caption on it, short pants and his signature red shoes.
The elevator chimed, as Uraraka, wearing a cute pink dress, stepped out. "Sorry I'm late!" She apologized frantically as she stood beside Izuku. Just then, the elevator chimed again, revealing Momo, and an unusually shy Jiro who was hiding behind the black haired girl.
"Woah..." Denki whispered, staring at Jiro's dress. She looked like a goth, and he loved it. Jiro then reluctantly stood beside Momo, shyly clinking her earphone jacks together repeatedly with her hands.
"Jiro...Wow you look..." He whispered as he approached her. Momo noticed, and gladly stood aside, conversing with the others.
"Just say it already, geez..." She grumbled, crossing her arms, not matching his gaze. Denki grinned, scratching the back of his neck.
"I was just trying to say you look beautiful."
Jiro widened her eyes, before she smiled a little. "Thanks... You don't look so bad yourself." She muttered.
"It's my first time wearing this..." Uraraka whispered, looking down at the dress she borrowed from Momo. Izuku scratched his chin nervously, finding his heart beating fast than usual.
"W-well... It looks good on you..." He slowly got out. Uraraka stared before she giggled, a flushed expression on her.
"Hehehehe!"
Just then, Melissa ran out of the elevator. She had her hair in a high ponytail, and a strapless dress with the top half being blue and the skirt white.
"Oh you all are still here?" She asked, arriving before the group. Iida nodded, sighing as he looked at his phone.
"Bakugo and Kirishima aren't picking up." He then glanced at Momo. "Yaoyorozu, maybe you can try locating them with the walkie talkies." Iida requested. Ever since Momo created the walkie talkies for the whole class, Iida had always kept it on him.
.....
Meanwhile with Bakugo and Kirishima. The both of them were lost in the road of life, though Kirishima didn't want to admit it.
"Oi! Where the hell did you bring us huh?!" The blonde shouted. Kirishima gritted his teeth as he looked at his phone.
"Damn, no signal."
"The hell are you talking about?! We had signal before this!"
"The others must be trying to call us by now...Shit..."
...
"Let's hope they kept it on them..." Momo muttered, taking out the communication device. Just then, the signboards around them started flashing red with the words 'emergency' written in all caps, while a blaring alarm started ringing.
"Impossible, this is..." Melissa whispered when a robotic voice interrupted her.
"This is anannouncement by the I-Island security system. We have received a report from the security system that an explosive device was placed in the I-Expo area. I-Island will now be on high-alert mode. Residents and tourists should return to their homes or lodgings." Sukuna narrowed his eyes as he and his group listened to the announcement.
"Villain attack." He stated, looking at his classmates.
"Oi! Yaomomo!" Momo straightened a little, hearing Bakugo's voice from the walkie talkie.
"The hell was that?! Are there villains here?!" Bakugo asked, holding his walkie talkie, while Kirishima stood on guard beside him. The blonde had contacted the black haired girl as soon as he heard the announcement.
"It sounds like it, though we have no idea where they are at the moment. Where are you and Kirishima?"
"Well someone decided that it was a good idea to trust his instincts instead of just asking for directions!" Bakugo glared at Kirishima who grinned sheepishly at him.
"I have no idea where we got ourselves to, but you can try to locate and guide us to where you guys are...." Bakugo grinned maniacally, excited for a fight.
"Right Vice Prez?"
Momo nodded after hearing Bakugo's request.
"You can count on me."
Black markings spread across Sukuna as he cracked his knuckles. His second pair of crimson eyes opened while Melissa stared in awe as her new friends had a serious aura around them.
"Come on, 1-A. Let's go kick some villain ass."
"Right!!!"
