Back in the battlefield—
Captain Leon gathered his remaining strength.
His golden aura flared around his sword once again.
He looked at the knights behind him.
"If we retreat now, the kingdom will fall."
The knights raised their weapons despite their injuries.
They knew the risk.
But none of them stepped back.
Leon pointed his blade toward the monster.
"Attack!"
The remaining royal knights charged together.
Magic arrows flew through the air.
Fire spells exploded against the creature's body.

The royal knights were blown across the courtyard.
Several crashed into the broken temple walls.
Leon slid across the stone floor before stopping.

Each step felt like the end of the battle.

Orion looked at him carefully.
"You know that battle could kill you."
Saksham clenched his fists.
"But if no one stops that monster…"
"The kingdom will fall."
Orion remained silent for a moment.
Then he smiled slightly.
"Good answer."
He stepped forward.
"Then it's time you learned the forbidden training method."
Saksham blinked.
"Training?"
Orion's eyes glowed faintly with dark mana.
