Damian arrived at the park a lot earlier than he probably should have. Ten long minutes had passed, and he was yet to catch a glimpse of Gregory. Was it all a prank? It was definitely a possibility when it came to Gregory.
He picked up his phone and checked to see if Gregory had sent a new message, but he hadn't. He regretted sending the reply almost immediately. What was he even doing here? Meeting the boy who'd spent years making his life hell, the same boy who'd then photoshopped him into a fake scandal to cover his own panic. Damian rubbed his wrists under his sleeves, feeling the faint raised lines that had once been fresh cuts. He wasn't afraid of Gregory anymore, not physically at least. But emotionally? He still felt a little bit vulnerable.
He should have told Amanda. Or Ethan. Or anyone. But he hadn't. He'd thought it was best to keep it a secret for now.
