The Goblin King's roar shook the air itself. It was a primal sound of rage and power that made even the bravest villagers back away in fear.

Rex grinned, recognizing that the threat was likely to mount a formidable defense against those heroes. "Hell yeah... I can't fucking wait to see it!"
Elliot, to his credit, didn't back down. The hero stood firm and raised his sword, which shone in the dappled light of the forest.
His jaw was set with determination, and his eyes were focused like someone who had fought monsters before and won. "A goblin king in a situation like this... I shouldn't let my guard down by a bit because of how strong and dangerous they are."
"EVERYONE...! fall back immediately now!" Elliot shouted, and his voice cut through the panic. "Get the villagers to safety! This one is mine to handle!"
Rex looked closely at Elliot. "I knew it... seems like he's 'that' type of hero... a naive fool."
