Seven people sat at a table with grim expressions.
A silver haired figure with grey armament and a strapped short sword on his back noted, "It seems we must deploy immediately. But what could be the cause-?"
A red haired figure with an authoritative demeanor answered before the silver haired man could finish, "It's simple. They fear the second coming of Hashirama. Unfortunately for them, I can verify that Soutarou is solidly already at Kage Level. As is Mikoto Uchiha. The reemergence of wood release gave them a fright. However, forget Hashirama and Madara… Mikoto and Soutarou are in a league of their own. And their potential is enough. So our current plan of action… destroy or completely level an entire village to send a message… My first choices are Suna and Ame. I will head to the battlefield myself and see to it. Naori Uchiha will join me… with the nine tails and a mangekyo I doubt anything can threaten us. As for the Kumo front I suggest deploying the rest of the Uchiha Clan and the Sarutobi Clan. Deploy the Hyuga to the Kiri front with the Nara, Yamanaka, and Akimichi clans additionally the Shimura Clan will join to deal with the Hiding in the Mist Jutsu. Deploy the Aburame, Hatake, and Senju along with the shinobi families to the Iwa front. Pad the rest of the ranks with Jonin, Anbu, and… Root. Danzo I'll warn you only once. Do not let me find you harming Konoha Shinobi without extreme reason… or even if Konoha falls I'll take you to hell with me. As for the battlefield commanders… I'll lead the Suna and Ame front. Hiruzen will lead the Kumo front. Danzo, Koharu, and Homura will deal with the Kiri front. Sakumo command deal with the Iwa front jointly with Tsunade with Jiariya and Orochimaru as commanding officers. Any objections?"
Hiruzen frowned before adding, "What of the village? If all of our strongest fighters are-"
Mito interjected again, "Did you not hear me the first time? Soutarou and Mikoto are Kage Level. Solid Kage Level as long as two or three elite Jonin join them even if two or three tailed beasts attacked the village I have complete confidence they could handle it. Our main objective now is to head to the battle front and ensure our members under elite Jonin strength do not fall. Iwa alone has superior numbers, forget fighting all four other villages, just two are enough to overwhelm our numbers…"
Tsunade then questioned, "If sending a message is the problem, why not field Soutarou and Mikoto to strike fear into them?"
Mito sighed and said, "Tsunade while that would be good in most cases… here all four nations are likely starting the war just to deal with Soutarou. Meaning fielding him will mean…"
Tsunade interrupted and said, "Meaning they'll all funnel themselves at him. So we use him as bait and force them onto one battlefield."
Everyone's eyes widened, Mito paused before smiling and saying, "This plan can be put aside for now if possible. I want to give him as much time as possible to grow…though at the rate we're going we all know he and Mikoto will have to be fielded soon."
Everyone grimly nodded before they all began logistical planning and coming to one conclusion… The Second Great Ninja War had begun.
~Soutarou POV, Two Months Later~
Groggy and sleep deprived, Soutarou slowly opened his eyes, cursing mentally at how much he'd been training lately.
Internally he reflected, 'I've noticed everyone in the village is on an emotional down, Shinobi are leaving daily and somehow I already got promoted to Chunin… I guess the Second Great Ninja War has begun. Mito gave me an indefinite mission to constantly patrol the village and train while doing so… these past few months my progress has been ridiculous especially with Water and Earth style jutsu. Thankfully Mikoto's been a great sparring partner and I revealed my Mangekyo to her… to which she went ballistic and tried pinning me to a bed… I had to explain to her that that part of me isn't ready yet! So awkward… regardless she, Tsunade, Naori, Mito, and Kushina all know now… me and Mikoto have spent a good amount of time training Kushina and she's clearly Jonin level now… still I have to admit I haven't seen Naori, Mito, or Tsunade in a while now… I wonder how they're doing…'
~Mito POV~
Standing atop of a cliff face stood menacingly as her hair whipped around the strong updrafting wind currents, her face radiating dominance she stared off into the distance. Rain pounded as another figure in a hooded cloak arrived, pulling her hood back revealing a youthful face with rounded glasses. The figure bowed slightly and said, "Lady Mito, a report from the ROOT."
Mito didn't turn around and simply glanced over and motioned to her, to which the younger figure replied, "Our spies in Sunagakure and Amegakure have confirmed that both the Third Kazekage and Hanzo, the Salamander have taken to the field. A decisive battle is likely to break out. Our current estimate is that Hanzo the Salamander will stall one of our divisions while the Kazekage and his company attempt to flank us or even strike at our rear-"
Mito grimly looked over the land beyond the cliff and declared, "I see… then let them come. I will personally head to the battle field. Let's see if this Demigod is truly beyond mortals."
Mito turned back and said, "Girl, what is your name?"
The figure was confused before replying, "Nono… Nono Yakushi."

~Kushina POV~
"Soutarou!"
Kushina gasped as she suddenly sat up straight in her bed, realizing it had just been a nightmare she grumbled, before pausing…
'Soutarou… and even Mikoto they're so much… stronger than me… it's… it's… not fair… I train more than either of them… why can't I reach their level too? Stupid System!'
