***Announcement: I'm genuinely surprised we hit 25 powerstones so quickly… I kind of didn't predict this… but as promised here's your bonus chapter and I have to say damn yall got lucky on having no cliff hanger.***
~Mito POV~
Saburo's fading will snapped into full flare as he shouted, "Mito Uzumaki even if I fall today I shall at least take you with me! Do not mock the Will of Sand! Even a grain of sand can weather the best fortress, grind the largest rock, and humble the strongest of beings! For Lord Reto! For Lord Shamon! LET'S GO TO HELL TOGETHER!!!!!! MITO UZUMAKI!!!!!!!!"
A roar of deathly determination rang out as Saburo's bit into something causing his chakra began to surge visibly, causing literal waves of chakra to flow off of him.
Mito smiled and thought to herself, 'As expected a kage is still a kage. No matter which nation. Will of Lightning, Will of Rock, Will of Water, Will of Sand, and of course the Will of Fire.'
Saburo's eyes burned with vigor and resolve as he began to draw on iron from the blood of the hundreds of fallen Suna ninja, their kunai, their shuriken, their shirt buttons, every piece of magnetizable metal in a more than three mile radius (***5KM~***) was drawn towards Saburo.
Mito smiled deeply and said, "Good. Good, let's see your resolve Saburo of Magnet Release!"
Saburo pushed his hands outwards as blood began trickling out of his mouth, he bellowed, <"MAGNET STYLE: ALL PIERCING RAIN!!!">
In the sky the rising iron blocked out all light and formed a cloud of iron and red. All before the thick cloud of iron began to fall in sharp piercing rain droplets. Like a sea of falling senbon the iron droplets tattered the ground into a mess of holes that would make any person with trypophobia scream in horror.
Mito's gaze sharpened as she formed a massive rasengan above her head using her nine tails cloak.
'Ultra-big ball rasengan!'
Mito gritted her teeth as she was forced to dig her feet for the first time in the fight. As the rasengan's chakra began to run out Mito began to move with extreme speed seemingly teleporting around the battlefield.
'Nine Tails! Give me some of your chakra!'
{Old hag. Just this once.}
A corrosive red cloak formed over her golden cloak as the first iron droplet punctured straight through her dual cloaks. Mito grunted as the first droplet hit her with extreme force causing her shoulder to get scratched and her clothes to get damaged.
'If I didn't cover myself in adamantine sealing chains, that one hit would have been it. It seems I'm taking this far too casually.'
Mito paused for a moment allowing her cloak's arms to form another Ultra-big ball rasengan as she formed proper full handsigns and used a massive jutsu.
'Sealing Art: World of Adamantine Chains.'
As the numerous chains formed from her back Mito's hands lit up with thousands and thousands of chakra threads that wrapped around her chains. Mito then began wrapping her arms and hands around the thousands of chains. The chains then began wrapping around her legs forming the control system to the thousands of chakra threads and chains.
'Mito Style: Giant Chained Fox'
Manipulating the chains that formed a giant golden red glowing fox that Mito used both her and the nine tail's chakra to cover. Mito moved her arms and legs like a marionette and closed her eyes using her Kagura's Mind Eye to sense Saburo's exploding chakra. Using her self made nine tails form to weather the pouring iron rain storm. Saburo's rain and Mito's adamantine chains clashed, with Mito's chains slowly but surely being eroded.
Saburo's weakening voice rang out, "MAGNET STYLE: IRON SANDSTORM."
All the formerly fallen iron sand particles began forming upwards and turning into a tornado of colossal scale made entirely of iron and blood.
'This man… haha… they say that on the precipice of death time slows down and that one can take their strength to new levels… and not to mention that the edge of death is the single best place to grow stronger… but to think he'd be so creative and very bluntly impressive… No doubt if Naori had fought this man Soutarou would be left with a cold corpse… hell there might not be a corpse left with how brutal this iron sand is. This kazekage is truly impressive… you Saburo have earned my respect… but this farce ends here.'
Mito glanced around as she felt and heard her chained beast creak and that revolting grating of metal against metal.
'Though must say truly if he's trying to kill me via my ears he's far beyond succeeded. As much as I'm getting to test out all my techniques this is getting annoying now.'
Mito began actively forming handsigns continuously to form barrier after barrier as she noticed small gaps formed in her nine tails and iron sand began leaking through and attempting to attack her. Forming several clones to reinforce the barrier and the chains themselves, Mito threw the false tailed beast straight at Saburo…
~Saburo POV~
Saburo watched with sadness and regret as the giant nine tailed form continued forwards as he thought, 'As expected of the Wife of Hashirama Senju… truly a Shinobi Goddess… and it seems a near perfect jinchuriki too. To think that was even possible… Konoha's foundations are truly too deep… she didn't even bother fighting in the First Shinobi War… that should speak a million miles about her strength… and her youth… It's not a false youth… her lifeforce is so pure… so young… Haha… Lord First… Lord Second… I've failed you… or perhaps I haven't… Perhaps I fulfilled our forsaken and cursed will of sand to the tee. Since I've already chosen this path and since it is no longer possible for me to live. I must force Mito back, killing her would be a fool's dream. What a pity… this war… how worthless… Perhaps… Perhaps the Shinobi Goddess will continue the will of the First Hokage and unify the world… she did not even need Soutarou Senju… she could do it herself… Stay well in my absence, Sunagakure…'
Saburo gave up attacking with his iron and blood in the style of a sea and instead called upon every possible particle of magnetizable material to coalesce into his hand.
'I had thought about this after hearing about Soutarou Senju's natural lightning S-rank jutsu… Magnetism and electromagnets to create a supercharged and superfast object… empowered by natural lightning the speed should be greater as well… Well since I already know the basis of this jutsu the only thing I can really lament is that I could not master it while I possessed the ability to carry Sunagakure forwards… I can only hope the next generation of magnet release user will realize my shortcomings and improve upon them… and that my failure may erode the pathway to success for them…
As lightning lit up across Saburo's palm and then shot into the air and his other hand clamped down into a tight grip around a super massive spear. As two walls of opposing poles formed revealing Saburo's battered and bleeding self. Shooting his right into the air as lightning cascaded down towards the the Kazekage himself or rather one tall arch that was connected to the metal walls of opposing polarity causing the half formed Kirin to slam into the positive side's wall causing a massive electromagnetic force to be generated and cause the spear which Saburo had already launched from his hand to be accelerated at hypersonic speeds. The sheer speed sent Saburo flying and crashing into the ground…
~Mito POV, at the same time~
As barrier after barrier formed and solidified, four of Mito's clones each took over the False Nine Tail's control system, one of each limb and then began coordinating to open the beast's mouth. Utilizing a one way barrier that let attacks out, but kept the iron sand out, two of Mito's clones began forming supermassive rasengans while four more clones, two per rasengan forming clones, began infusing massive amounts of wind chakra into them. All while Mito's main body gave up her nine tail golden cloak to her clones and instead opted for the tailed beast cloak forcing out six tails worth of chakra since, the nine tails wasn't extraordinarily resistant and Mito on her own could use about four tails on demand. Her eyes turned into slits as she opened her own mouth and began forming a black orb of supermassive amounts of chakra that dwarfed anything she had ever used before. Before the sphere of black completely formed, her two rasengan forming clones were launched out of the chain beast and wrapped in chakra chains themselves.
The two clones at the same time threw the massive rasengans at Saburo's large tsunami of iron sand and both clones dissipated at the exact moment they threw the rasengans. The resultant aftermath was a complete deletion of a large section of the iron sand.
'Rasenshuriken.'
Mito watched as the orbs of glowing wind infused chakra exploded in astonishing flair. In what could only be described as a flash of blue and white that deleted near a mile of the tower iron sand each.
'I truly wonder how Soutarou came up with these ideas… then again I never understood Tobirama's mind either and I regretted that for so long… No matter I'll ensure that never happens again, after all I'm here, so who'd dare? Now I truly understand Madara and Hashirama's absolute confidence and slight arrogance that Hashirama had and the absolute one Madara had. Still what's more interesting is this looks exactly like a railgun like Soutarou said and I now understand why he called it the one of greatest kekkei genkai in the hands of a smart person. Though to think that the Kazekage could realize what Soutarou theorized… both are geniuses, though it's a true pity that the Kazekage has to die… if he was allowed to live he'd take Sunagkure to new heights… no matter… as impressive as he is, it still can't compare to this…'
Mito looked in front of her as a super compressed tailed beast bomb with a modified shape formed and moved and hovered to the front of the chain formed nine tails.
Mito shook her head and fired the black tailed beast bomb just as the Kazekage's barrier and iron sand formed into a spear and two walls and then the lightning hit the positive pole and the two forces met in the middle. Resulting in an absolutely mind-blogging explosion that sent the false Nine Tails flying and Saburo crashing from his iron sand supported levitation. As the dust cleared it revealed a very clearly defeated Saburo and a near spotless Mito, though her Kimono did have a tear on her right shoulder. Mito slowly looked around, landing on saburo's body, which was lying in a battered mess with his right arm and both legs bent in directions they weren't meant to. Still somehow with the last of his will power Saburo raised his hand and aimed it at Mito before his arm collapsed and he gasped for his last few breaths.
Mito walked forwards with measured footsteps towards Saburo, before coughing a bit, revealing her hand stained by her own blood. Smiling half in regret and half in sheer awe, Mito with a face full of regret and respect proudly said, "Kazekage, Saburo, I, Mito Uzumaki, declare you the strongest kazekage of them all.. You truly were magnificent. Stand proud, for, you proved with certainty your will and the will of sand…"
Mito watched as the Kazekage's eyelids slowly closed and opened before the Kazekage rasped out, "A… Single… Grain… Can… Humble… The… Strongest…"
Mito nodded and said, "Indeed it can… Saburo you were truly worthy of the title, 'The Strongest Kazekage.' I shall let the Sunagakure troops retreat in your honor. May you rest in peace…"
The Kazekage smiled a bit and closed his eyes for the last time holding a single grain of metallic iron sand.
***Author's Note: I always felt like the Third Kazekage got done dirty despite being called the strongest of the Kazekages… so I tried my best to do him justice.
Ngl though these two chapters turned out pretty well though I was stuck for a bit because I knew how it would start and end, but the inbetween was… tough to figure out.
Also if you couldn't tell, these two chapters are what the Five Kage V.S. Madara would've been like if it were just Onoki V.S. Madara, but just replace Madara with Mito and Onoki with Saburo.***
