Lilian zoomed in on the photo, examining her great-grandmother's face more carefully, and she saw what Dante meant in his message. A slight gold gleam in eyes that should have been plain brown like Margaret and Lilian before she turned into vampire.
"Mom," Lilian called.
Margaret was kneeling near another open box, flipping through as stack of black and white prints. "What do you know about great grandma's family? I mean where they came from?"
