Spiderman swung through the city, performing his usual patrol. It was a Saturday, and Peter had lied to his aunty about going to the library. The kind lady even have him some money. Peter's heart burned with guilt because he kept on lying to her due to his superhero life.
Soon, he landed on a rooftop, and hit a squatting position, but supporting himself with his two hands, making the iconic Spiderman pose.
"The city's quiet today. That's good, guess I can go home and—"
—spider sense—
"And I just had to jinx things."
He jumped from the building, and shot his webs, swinging towards the source of danger. It was a bank robbery, and the robbers had some hostages inside, so the police couldn't just barge in.
Spiderman landed next to Captain George, surprising him.
"Wasn't really expecting you here. But I'm glad you're here, we could really use your help." Captain George said, and began explaining the situation.
The robbers had explosives, and rumours of a super human too. He also mentioned that his daughter was among the hostages.
"What is the name of your daughter sir?" Spiderman asked, his blood running cold.
"Carla."
Spiderman quickly jumped to the building and climbed the wall with great stealth. The robbers didn't even know he was there. He entered through a window, and entered the ceiling through the air vent. He crawled towards the sound of people crying, and saw the robbers. Captain George had told him that they were 8 in number, but he was only seeing 7. It seemed like they were all regular human beings too. He took a deep breath, burst out of the ceiling. The robbers turned in shock and panic, but they couldn't react in time, as Spiderman webbed their weapons away from them. Weaponless, they decided to throw hands. One ran to Spiderman and through a hook, but Spiderman dodged by bending his body backwards. He placed his hands on the floor and kicked the robber, sending him flying. The robber crashed into a wall and tried to stand up but a table smashed him down, knocking him unconscious.

Spiderman threw a backflip, dodging a chair that was thrown at him. Still in the air, he webbed the chair and slammed it into the robber that threw it, taking him out of the picture.
He looked at the remaining robbers, five left, that won't be a challenge. The five decided to charge at him at once, each picking broken sticks and sharp objects since they didn't have their guns.
"Ok now this is becoming a fair fight, I was wondering when you guys would realise that coming at me one by one is useless. Is anybody up for table sandwich, cause I got a lot to toss around!" Spiderman quipped.
The five robbers charged at him, and he just stood calmly.
He caught a punch and kicked the attacker away, quickly bending down on time to dodge a swing of a broken table leg. He webbed the table's leg and slammed it on the attacker.
"Rule number one, never throw things at Spiderman!"
Three left.
A quick backflip and he dodged a knife jab.
"What the hell man why are you using a knife!"
He jumped into the air and webbed a table, spinning around, slamming the three robbers in the head with the table.
"I think a table's my favourite weapon now." Spiderman said, removing dust from his gloves, "Well I'm guessing I'm done here—"
—spider sense —
He jumped from the spot he was standing and large hands slammed the ground.
"I think anyone ordered Spider paste!" Spiderman said, sticking to the wall. His Spider sense was warning crazily, this guy that just randomly spawned wasn't child's play one the rest of the robbers. The Spider sense felt different, and it told him that this giant man who had appeared wasn't a normal human.
The man stood tall, a literal giant. He had muscles that looked like he had sparred with the gods of war, and won. Spiderman looked like a toddler when he stood near him. He wore as thick black sleeveless jacket, that had spikes as decoration.
'So he's the eight one.' Spiderman thought to himself, as the giant turned to face him.
"So umm do you have a name or do I get to name you?".
"The name's Goliath. And I'm gonna squash you like the bug you are!"
"Goliath? Now that's oddly accurate considering your size. You have to try harder if you wanna squash me though."
Goliath roared and ran to Spiderman, punching the wall where Spiderman had just jumped from.
"Stay put you insect!" Goliath screamed in frustration, as he scattered the bank trying to attack Spiderman.
"Well if I can't get to you, you'll come to me!" Goliath said, an evil grin forming on his face.
The evil giant walked to the hostages that were hiding in a 'safe' corner, and grabbed one by the neck, lifting her up.
"Spider bug, if you don't get over here and stop running like a coward, I'll kill this puny girl. " Goliath threatened, tightening his grip on the girl's neck. And can you guess who the girl was? Our very own Carla.
Spiderman felt his blood boil as he jumped down from the wall.
"Let her go." He said coldly, walking towards Goliath.
Goliath grinned as twisted Carla's hand, breaking it in the process. She screamed in pain, as tears fell from her eyes.
Goliath turned to face Spiderman, and he was met with a heavy punch that scattered his jaw. Spiderman kicked the door open, and allowed the hostages to go free. The police were about to rush in but the wall crawling hero stopped them.
"I'll handle the giant, you guys take care of the hostages I just rescued, one of them is injured I don't know about he rest. Please take care of them!." Spiderman said, and swung into the bank, just in time to see Goliath standing up.
"You're quite strong for your size." Goliath said, spitting out blood. "But I'm stronger."
"Let's see about that! Man it's so unfortunate that I wasn't named David, that would've been so epic!"
"Shut up! Your jokes are gonna drive me crazy!" Goliath yelled, charging towards Spiderman.
"Isn't that kinda good for me?" Spiderman asked, slightly shrugging his shoulders.
He threw a punch, but Spiderman dodged and retaliated with his own punch, but Goliath didn't even flinch.
"You pesky insect! You held back!" Goliath barked, grabbing Spiderman and slammed him into the wall.
"Ah my back!" Spiderman screamed, as he landed on the ground.
He was about to stand but Goliath dropped his massive foot on him, and a loud cracking sound was heard.
"Ugh! I don't think I'll be able to walk again." Spiderman said, trying to stand.
Goliath grabbed him by the head and lifted him up.
"Your first punch was really powerful, now why the hell are you holding back! Don't you think I'm strong enough!" Goliath screamed, squeezing Spiderman's head.
"I .... ugh...don't want to hurt you!" Spiderman managed to say, and this greatly angered Goliath, who furiously flunged him into the wall like he was a rag doll.
"I'll kill you ." Goliath said, walking menacingly towards Spiderman.
"Gosh my first villain and I'm already losing." Spiderman muttered, slowly lifting his battered body up.
"You said I shouldn't hold back right? Well have it your way way then." Spiderman said as he webbed Goliath's eyes, causing the giant to panic. Spiderman spun some webs to his enormous body, and pulled himself forward, delivering a powerful flying punch, which sent Goliath flying.
The evil giant managed to get rid of the webs, but the next thing he saw was a large table flying towards his head. Goliath lifted his hands and blocked the table, but he was surprised to see Spiderman's leg near his face. With a loud bang, Spiderman kicked his face, pushing his head into the ground.
Spiderman was about to punch him but Goliath caught his punch, and threw Spiderman away, but the latter perched on the wall like a monkey, spun webs to Goliath's chest, and pulled himself forward like a catapult, trying to deliver another flying punch, but Goliath's giant fist hit his stomach, blasting him backwards. Spiderman rolled on the floor gasping for breath. He was injured in multiple places, had several broken bones, and a bleeding nose. His costume was a mess too, as it was torn in several places. Goliath walked triumphantly to Spiderman, a large grin on his face.
"You were a good opponent Spiderman."
"I'm not done yet!" Spiderman yelled, jumping towards Goliath, throwing a punch. The giant smirked and lifted his hands to block it, but Spiderman's other hand landed on his shoulder, breaking it in the process. Before Goliath could process the pain, Spiderman climbed his giant body like an actual spider, lifted himself up, and slammed his right leg on Goliath's head, causing the giant to fall. Spiderman quickly jumped back to his feet, webbing Goliath to the ground very tightly and securely. Goliath tried to break free but the webbing was too strong, and soon he resembled a giant in a cocoon.
And that was the end of Spiderman's first reall villian. The police cheered when they saw Spiderman stagger outside, but before they could question him he swung away, leaving them stunned. They walked into the destroyed bank that was stained with blood and littered with unconscious bodies, including Goliath's (Spiderman knocked him out before leaving).
Captain George nodded with a blank look on his face.
Spiderman landed on a building's roof and collapsed. He looked off his mask, revealing a heavily damaged face.
Peter gasped for air as he lay down, exhausted. He didn't know that the path he had chosen was as hard as this, and he wasn't Ben sure if it was going to be any easier. Peter reflected on his life and shook his head, all he had to do was become stronger, so he'll be able stop villains, no matter how crazy they get, as well as stop the villain that'll kill Carla in the future. As he lay there thinking, he slowly fell asleep.

OSCORP
Max Dillon whistled a happy tune as he fixed a damaged tank. The tank was empty and all the bio electric eels were in another one. Even though he whistled a happy tune he wasn't happy, because he had fixed the same tank some days ago and was wondering how the hell his colleagues handled equipment so poorly.
He was still fixing it, when he heard a pool sound. Turning back, he saw that one well had jumped out of its tank. He frowned and looked at the tank, it was supposed to be sealed. Why the hell was it open?
And to his horror, he noticed the other tank crack. The tank containing the eels! Max's senses told him to run, but he knew that running would just put everyone else at risk. So max decided to be a hero and fix the cracking tank. He picked up a tape that didn't look like your regular tape. It was a tape strong enough to hold two cars it both of them were tapped together. He took a deep breath and put on his yellow gloves. Max ran towards the tank and was about to patch the cracking spot, when the whole tank exploded and the liquid form the tank as well as the fishes poured on him, electrocuting him.
He screamed in pain and tried to call for help but he couldn't. His skin was charred black, and he fell dead.
But the a blue spark appeared in his hand. It spread throughout his body and soon Max Dillon glowed blue. All the bulbs exploded and the security alarm sounded.
The guards ran into the room and gasped in shock.
"What the hell are you?"
"Don't shoot me please! I'm not an enemy!" Max frantically yelled.
