Life was always the same for Andy Martinez, from freshman year, he was bullied because he was weak, quiet and useless.
You see people are born with either 3 gene types.
S-genes, these where the dominate and rare gene, basically untouchable. Inhuman strength speed etc.
Then you have A-genes, which is the discount version of S-genes.
And finally, C- genes, the lowest and most common gene to many, everything is just average.
But there is a forth gene type recently discoved, E-genes, a new and weak gene, individuals are practically useless in every way possible.
Andy falls into the fouth gene type, thats why everyone treats him like shit.
The nerds would torture him , asking him questions they knew he would fail.
"Alright idiot, what's the square root of 216144? Hmm." They asked him.
"Umm i-i let me see." He tried to answer, but they wouldn't let him finish.
"Umm umm umm, look at him, can't even form a proper sentence while stuttering over his own vocals."
The nerds laughed at him, shoving him around and laughing in his face.
One of them, a fatass named Tim spat on his face, they all laughed at him, pointing fingers.
Andy just laughed along, not wanting any more drama.
His morning routine was always like this, the nerds were easy to handle, but the teachers made it worse.
And the one who did the most were Ms Amanda and Mrs Redfield, his Math and English teachers.
Ms Amanda made it her lifes work to mentally torture him everyday. When he got a question wrong, she would slap him across the face.
If he didn't want to answer, she would humiliate him verbally.
"Oh what's wrong. Can't your flower mother teach you anything but growing plants, look he wants to cry.." she would tell him.
This would mainly lead to his depression and antisocialness.
But Mrs Redfield was worse, she knew he stuttered when placed under pressure and that was what she wanted.
"Martinez, please re-read all of chapter 22 for us please. " she would tell him, telling to stand up and read in front of the whole class.
Andy would stutter and not know where to start from, Ms Redfield would capitalize on this and force him to kneel and apologize for being an illiterate child.
"I'm sorry ma'am..." Andy would tell her each and every time. But she would just get even angrier.
Junior high and Senior high were much worse, here everyone was high on testosterone, drugs, bad decisions and the urge to disappoint their family.
Andy maintained his quiet lifestyle, maneuvering through the halls like a ghost.
For some time he was safe, only his teachers troubled him slightly and often but it was manageable.
Then he made the mistake of bumping into the "King of the School", Chad "The Man" Oscars.
6'3 of pure muscle and intimidation, backed up by 5 idiots Andy didn't know the names of.
If you want death or an unhappy life, talk to Chad.
One look and Andy was shaking in his crocs, he tried apologizing and walking away but that only made it worse.
"Where do you think you're going, shrimp?" He asked, signaling his men to move closer.
They looked at the vending machine and had a great idea. "Gunther , Rhino, grab him and put him in the machine."
They grabbed his arms and legs, and somehow made him fit in the vending machine, closing it on him.
"Help, someone...please." Andy would ask, but they didn't care. They laughed and took pictures, posting it on instagram and facebook.
Andy would watch as other students passed by, too scared to do anything or just didnt give a fuck.
The janitor soon became his best friend, constantly helping him out in such situations.
He would walk home with bruises and cuts, some were black, other yellow, most purple.
He could never tell his mom, she was already busy working hard at the flower shop, making just enough to keep them going.
Most nights he would find her drunk and crying in the living room, this hurt him more than the beatings he would take.
His father, absent like most, ran when he was just 6 years old, Andy can't even remember what he looks like anymore.
His mother burned all the photos of his existence.
Sometimes when drunk ,she would tell Andy that he looked exactly like his father, causing her to shout and curse him.
She could never remember it the next day, Andy still loved his mother to death and understood her pain.
But his school life would only get worse day by day, from the Jerks on the football team, to the cheerleaders.
He had made one mistake, he listened to Chad when he told him to take a letter to the Bitch of the school.
Stacy Morgans, A-gene royaliy and stupidity.
Rich, powerful, has a group of girls who follow her out of fear , and her boyfriend is Chad.
She mocked him, slapped him, poured paint on him, accused him of inappropriate behaviour and all because she just didn't like him.
Andy just took it, no words, no time to fight back he couldn't, it wouldn't change a thing really.
But one day, they went too far. It was after gym class, Andy knew that he had to leave without being seen by Them!!.
He tried using the back door but found them waiting, Chad and his gorillas.
"Hey look who it is, the punching bag of the whole school. Going so soon, stay in the rush, it's only 3:30pm." He told Andy.
His friend Rhino reached into his pocket and took out his transport money for the whole week.
"Wait, that's mine, you can't just..." Andy tried to defend himself, but felt Chad's huge hand on his shoulder.
"Andy!! You don't want to share with your friends, now that's not nice. I guess we just have to teach you a lesson then."
Chad snapped his finger and his buddies closed in on him, everything faded to black as he struggled.
When he woke up, he could only see darkness and hear laughter...
