morning,
Anie did not wake up because of the alarm.It was a small uneasiness not pain,not fear.
But…
a strange movement she sat up straight on the bed.Everything in the room looked normal curtain near the window
moved slightly with the wind.Outside, the sounds of the city slowly rose.
Buses cars distant train somewhere far away.Everything normal but inside her,
there was only one question.
"Something will change today."
didn't know the reason she tried to ignore the thought.
But sometimes the mind recognizes the truth before we do.
On the way to college,Mira was talking like usual.
"Didn't you sleep again last night?"
"I did."
"When you lie,your eyes never look straight."
Anie didn't reply,she looked across the road.People on the sidewalk,bakery opening,child running with a school bag.Life keeps moving forward but sometimes that normalcy itself is the biggest disguise.
"Are you still thinking about that message?"Mira asked again.
Anie stayed silent for a moment then she nodded.
"Yes."
"You are not being hunted alone."
Those words were still inside her mind.
It wasn't a threat but it wasn't comfort either.It was a warning.
At the same time,
in another part of the city.On top of an old building,Adrian stood quietly.In front of him was a small tablet screen.
He was studying the data signal logs,
CCTV feeds,Digital interference records.Everything carefully organized.
But in one place there was an error he opened the data again.
02:14 AM
A small signal disruption Only 0.7 seconds.For normal people it would be nothing.But Adrian looked at it again,,
and again.Because he had seen that pattern before.he slowly exhaled.
"This is happening again…"
he said quietly to himself Inside his mind,a name appeared.but he didn't say it Because if it was true…
this case
was going to become much bigger.
At the college,
everything looked normal that day.Classes,notes,students talking but Anie felt a slight difference.She went to the library her usual table.she opened a book but reading didn't happen.
She felt like someone was watching her.
It wasn't the first time but today the feeling was clearer.She slowly raised her head.In the glass door of the library
she saw a reflection someone behind her.
Standing at a distance she immediately turned around.No one was there for a moment she almost laughed.
"The same illusion again…"
But
her mind didn't accept that she stood up.Looked outside the door the corridor was empty.But the CCTV camera once again slightly tilted she froze.
This was not a coincidence.
At the same moment,
Adrian arrived near the college he didn't get out of the car.he parked across the road his eyes on the building.He wasn't looking for someone,
He was looking for a pattern,He opened the tablet again.
Camera feeds,Corridor,Library.Then
a small distortion he zoomed in.image blurred for a moment.Then returned to normal.He leaned back in the seat.
"He was here."
This time
he didn't say the name aloud but inside his mind the answer was clear.he looked directly at the college.
"Why did you come back?"
evening,
Mira and Anie walked outside the college gate.,Mira kept talking.
"Tomorrow is the assignment submission."
Anie didn't hear it she looked across the road.a black car parked quietly
Someone,sitting inside.she couldn't see clearly but inside her a strange recognition.
Those eyes,,,,
Watching her for a moment the car window lowered slightly.She couldn't see the man's face clearly.But she felt
he knew her.She stopped for a second.
Mira asked,
"What happened?"
walked again...."Nothing."
But when she looked back again,
car was gone.
Night,,,,
On the outskirts of the city,
the Hunters' temporary command center screens glowing.One technician spoke.
"Signal anomaly detected again."
Another asked,"Location?"
"College sector." Silence filled the room.
A third person said,"Is it the girl?"
"Negative."
"Then what?" a short pause.
"External interference."
That word added weight to the room.
Hunters,never fear strangers.
But they hate the unknown.
At that moment,
on the rooftop of a tall building a man stood there.hands inside his jacket pockets.wind was strong below, the city glowed with lights.
He looked toward the direction of the college.There was no emotion on his face.But in his eyes,a memory.
Far away,a police siren the wind moved his hair.He slowly said,
"This cannot continue like this."
The words disappeared into the wind.He took a small device from his pocket.Pressed a button In another part of the city,inside the Hunters' console,a screen flickered signal lost.
technician shouted,,,
"System interference!"
Confusion spread through the room.
But the man on the rooftop did not watch this.He had already turned and walked away.his presence was not in the cameras.not in the data but his movement was the first step of a war.
At that same moment,Anie stood in her room.Near the window city looked peaceful.But her mind wasn't she felt that sensation again.Someone nearby
not threatening But familiar she closed her eyes.
For a moment,
Then she slowly whispered,
"Did you come back again?"
No one was in the room but on another rooftop in the city,the man stopped walking.he looked back far away,a window he said nothing.But in his eyes
there was a decision because this time,
he would not just watch in silence.....
