"Yes. Bear a child for me," Leo said flatly, yet his gaze was sharp and piercing, filled with a mad obsession that suddenly made the atmosphere in the dining room feel suffocating.
Celine was struck dumb, her breath caught in her throat. Her tongue felt heavy. She knew that in this room, under this roof, she possessed no power to contradict or oppose the will of the devilish man before her.
Leo leaned back leisurely, watching Celine's terrified reaction with cold satisfaction. "I know everything, Celine. Every time you ask for money after we do it... it is not for your mother, is it?" A cunning smirk carved onto Leo's lips. "It is your way of collecting money to run away from me, is it not?"
Celine's blood ran cold. This man knew her ultimate plan.
"So..." Leo brought his face closer, his voice whispering yet threatening, "...so that you no longer think of running away, you must give me a child. As long as that child is in my hands, you will not have the heart to leave."
