"I... I need to go to the bathroom first," Celine stammered, attempting to slip beneath Leo's arm to avoid further confrontation.
Leo was far faster. With a predatory motion, he seized Celine's wrist, his fingers clamping down exactly where she held the phone. His grip was so forceful that Celine let out a sharp cry. Before she could react, Leo violently wrenched the device from her hand.
"What are you doing?!" Celine protested, gathering what remained of her courage to reach for the phone. Her efforts were futile. Leo held it high above his head, his eyes burning with a sharp intensity as if trying to pierce the secrets hidden behind the glowing screen.
With a rough shove, Leo parried Celine's hands, sending her staggering backward until she collapsed onto the cold floor. Pain radiated through her knees, but before she could even moan, Leo had grabbed her arm and hauled her upright to face him.
