Chapter 5 - Na'vi in Tamriel IV

(Third Person POV)

Valor raised an eyebrow, "Varang?" He said, "Interesting."

The Na'vi woman gave him a sly smile as she looked down at him, "In what manner is this interesting?" She said, "I'll tell you what I find interesting, sky man. You are able to wield fire? What is that you just did?"

Valor smirked slightly, "Wouldn't you like to know, Tall Lady." he said, "Here's the thing, how about we all settle down and talk this out?"

"No." Varang said without hesitation

She gestured at one of her men and they flung a boleadora at Valor's legs, wrapping around him with ease. The weights caused him to slightly stumble, prompting Varang to step forwards and kick him hard on the chest, causing him to fall on his back.

"Oh, shit." He simply said, unfazed by this

Varang then walked up to him and stepped on his chest, putting pressure on him as she looked down at him with a sadistic smile, her eyes piercing through him.

"Sky man, you should know your place." She said, "And that is below me."

"Well, right now I am legitimately below you." He said with a chuckle, feeling her bare foot pressing against his chest, "Haha...."

"As it should be." Varang smirked

He smirked as well, "Maybe I like this sight." He said, "Hehe."

Varang ran her foot up towards his face, pressing against his cheek and turning his head to the side, "Oh?" She said, "Perhaps I shall crush your skull with my foot, sky man."

She pressed her foot down, her entire body towering right over Valor. Valor's head pressed hard against the ground, his face squishing against the dirt.

"Ah." He said, unbothered by this at all, clearly showing no signs of struggle or restraint, "Someone might get jealous of this, don't you think?"

Varang tilted her head, "You show no fear as my foot is on your head, ready to crush it?" She asked, "What a peculiar man you are."

"I can get out of this as easily as I got myself into it." Valor said, "But I am not complaining about my current position."

"You made fire, red fire." Varang said with a menacing smirk, "I want that. You will make fire for me. And with that, I will dominate the other clans."

"About that." Valor said, "You'll do no such thing. You see, the last thing that you people need is infighting. You are in a perilous position, you Na'vi. You know nothing of the vast world that resides past the Mist."

"Mist?" Varang tilted her head, "Just what are you speaking about?"

"What, did Eywa not reach out to you?" Valor asked, "Judging by the entire region, the biomes of this area are exactly like your home's. There are Ikrans and all of the other wildlife that have the Kuru, which can connect to Eywa. Eywa reached out to the Na'vi, informing of the great shift."

"Eywa?" Varang pressed harder against his head, "You speak of Eywa? How peculiar, for a Sky Man to speak about a goddess your people do not believe in."

"Hm." Valor said, "Interesting, you don't seem to be connected to her. Or at the very least, she didn't reach out to you."

"Silence." She said with a warning tone, "You are my prisoner now, you will show me what you did. To wield such a power, I must not let that opportunity pass by."

"Okay." Valor said, "I think that's enough of this."

In a swift motion, Valor pushed Varang off him. This surprised Varang, who was not expecting someone like him display such strength. She stumbled back as Valor immediately stood up, ripping off the cord on his legs.

As this happened, two of the Mangkwan rushed at him and tried to stab at him, but Valor simply ducked down and avoided the attacks. He then flicked his two hands at them, firing off two bolts of red energy at them. The bolt hit them and detonated, causing a powerful shockwave that sent them flying back.

Varang saw this and widened her eyes in intrigue, straightening up and gesturing at Valor, "Take him alive." She said, "Get him!"

The others swarmed towards Valor, but he simply waved his hands towards him, causing the flames of the bonfire to siphon towards him, similar to before in the attack. The flames hit some of the Na'vi, burning their sides as they shrieked in pain, falling down to the ground hard.

Varang widened her eyes even more, a glint of excitement in them, "W-What...?" She said, a smile forming on her face, "Fire...."

Valor waved his hands in a smooth motion and then pumped his fists towards the nearest Mangkwang, stomping his right foot as he did so. The flames swirled towards him and hit him hard, combusting and exploding outwards. The nearest Mangkwan were hit by the explosion, flames burning their sides. They hit the ground, writhing in pain as Valor stood there and patted his sleeves.

"There you go." Valor said with a slight smirk, "There's your fire."

Varang rushed at him, grabbing him by the throat and pinning him hard against the tree behind him, "Hoooo?" She said with a smirk, drawing her dagger and pressing it against the side of his face, "How is it you wield fire like that?"

Valor smirked, eyeing her body up and down, clearly entertained by all of this.

"Well..." He said, "I would tell you, but why should I?"

"I won't cut your throat." Varang said, leaning down to his face, "You are facing death now, sky man."

"No, I am not." Valor said as he tilted his head, "Your blade will not cut me, do not bother."

"Do you wish to test that?" She said with a menacing chuckle, "Or would you like for me to suffocate the life out of you?"

"Either one is fine." Valor taunted, "I don't think you will be able to do much to me, but you're welcome to try."

Varang hissed right at him, choking him a bit harder, "Do not treat this as a joke!!!" She exclaimed, frustrating dwelling up within her, "You will tell me what you've done or I will flay you alive."

"Ooh, I'm so scared." He said with a smirk, "But fine, I will let you in a little secret. Your world does not have this, but Nirn certainly does."

"It's Magic."
