(Third Person POV)
Valor walked towards the edge of the shelters, seeing that the Ikrans were flying towards them, the sounds of war cries were filling the air.
He stood there, patting his sleeves, "Just what this day needs." He said, "When I am done here, I'm going to Riften and getting myself a damn drink."
Suddenly, he saw a flaming arrow, much larger than those he was used to, flying to the side. It hit a branch, combusting into flames.
Valor frowned, "Flaming arrows, huh?" He said as he looked back up, seeing how the group of Ikrans was spreading above the shelter, "Well...."
He heard the sounds of panicking Na'vi, scattering about and getting to safety. The warriors of this specific village were getting ready, making their way to their posts and returning fire, sending arrows up at the Ikran riders. Valor was able to see that the Na'vi that were mounting the banshees had an ashen color on them, with red and black war-paint on them.
"What are the odds that a Mangkwan attack happens when I meet with these people." He said as he looked to the side, seeing how the other Na'vi were preparing for battle, "Hm....this is all too convenient."
He saw as one of the Ikrans had swooped down, the sound of the war-cry from a Mangkwan was heard. He simply jumped up and reached up for the talons of the beast, grabbing onto it with ease. This caused the Ikran to shake in alarm, trying to fling him off.
Valor simply flung himself over the banshee, making a flip and reaching for the Ashen Na'vi's kuru braid, pulling hard on it.
"Arghh!" the Mangkwan exclaimed as Valor landed on the back of the banshee, "What?!"
Valor turned his head and punched him hard in the jaw, the Na'vi's eyes immediately whitened out as a loud crack was heard. The Ikran screeched in anger as the kuru was ripped off, interrupting the bond. As this happened, Valor simply threw the Na'vi off the beast, watching as he fell off into the village, crashing through the trees.
He then saw as many flaming arrows flew at the village, flames combusting and spreading rapidly. He jumped off the Ikran, watching as it flew away, and then landed back on the ground. This surprised any other Forest Na'vi that were watching, completely taken aback by his agility.
Valor looked around, seeing how rapidly the flames were spreading, "This is not good." He said as he lifted his hands up and extended them outwards, "I have to deal with this quickly."
Suddenly, some of the flames began to siphon towards Valor, swirling into a single point in front of him as he slowly waved his arms forwards. As this happened, the Na'vi were firing arrows back at the Mangkwan raiders, who were still persistent.
The Chief was looking at what Valor was doing, completely baffled, "what....?" He said, "What is he doing?!"
Valor then looked up at the group of Ikrans and waved his hands at them, pumping his fists forwards in a swift manner. The flames began to shoot at them, hitting the first few Ikrans and burning them. A combustion of flames erupted and toppled most of them completely, the banshees were burning as the others scattered in the air.
"Retreat!!" one of the riders exclaimed as they turned around, flying away in fear
Valor watched as the rest began to fly away, "Hm, so quickly." He said, "It won't be that easy."
He pointed a finger-gun at one of them, a bolt of red energy appearing and firing. It flew through the air, hitting the Ikran in the tail, exploding outwards, and causing the banshee to topple as it shrieked in pain.
Valor simply frowned, "Hm...."
He watched as they retreated.
The Chief walked towards him, "Mangkwan raiders." He said, "How did you do that?"
Valor looked at him, "Hm?" He said with a neutral expression, "Oh that?"
"Yeah, it was magic."
**************
Valor landed on the ground, having jumped down from the trees that led to the Na'vi village he had come from. It had been around half an hour since the quick attack that he was able to fend off and he had told the Chief that he would ensure that the threat was gone. He also informed him that they would talk more as soon as he was back.
As he was alone and walked through the forest, a large blue screen appeared in front of him.
[Task Unlocked: Interact With The Mangkwan Olo'eykte]
Valor scoffed, "More and more tasks, huh?" He said with a bored expression, "And the Mangkwan, they're the Ash people? This better be worth it."
He kept walking through the forest, going in the direction he was sure the Ikrans had flown to earlier.
"The only reason I am doing this is that I would like more Magic Items to hoard and hold over the Dragonborn's head." He said with a chuckle, "Maybe sell them to her, hehe. I mean, I don't need many of them. They mostly don't affect me, considering I have an Elder Dragon System."
He stopped and looked up, having caught a whiff of smoke in the air. He looked around, not really paying attention to the wilderness around him and was focusing on the sudden smell.
He then heard some commotion in the distance, which sounded like shouting. He quickly crouched down and hid behind some bushes, looking past them and seeing a bonfire that was in the middle of a clearing.
He saw that there was a group of Ashen Na'vi gathered around by the bonfire, shouting at two specific ones.
"You called for the retreat?!" one of them exclaimed, "Why?!"
"You didn't see what happened!" the Mangkwan said, "Someone used some sort of power! They threw the flames back at us!"
The taller one walked up to him, kicking him on the shin, "You fool!" He exclaimed, "You don't retreat no matter what! It makes us look weak, especially to the Tree Clan."
"But..." the Mangkwan said, "There was someone else! He was no Na'vi, he was a Sky Person!"
"A Sky Person?" a Female voice said
Valor narrowed his eyes and saw that through the flames, the tall figure of a Na'vi woman was seen. She was wearing a large headdress that was black and red in color. He saw that she had black paint around her eyes, similar to eye shadow makeup.
"Hm...." He said, "She seems important."
Valor watched as the woman walked towards the Mangkwan, the light of the flames reflecting off her large yellow eyes. The way she walked was quite alluring and mesmerizing, which immediately intrigued Valor.
"Oh..." He said, his eyes gazing upon the woman's figures, "Interesting...."
He then watched as the woman reached for the Mangwkan's throat, clutching it tightly. The Mangkwan collapsed to his knees, a scared expression on his face.
"T-Tsahiki....!" He said, "Mercy!"
"Tell me more about this Sky Person." She said with a serious expression, "He who struck fear in your hearts, enough to make you flee."
"H-He....." the Na'vi said, "He threw fire at us."
"Oh?" She said, "Is that so?"
Valor stepped forward through the bushed, clearing his throat, "Yea, I did." He said, "You might wanna let him go and talk to me."
The Mangkwan that were present immediately jumped up in alarm, drawing their weapons and pointing them at him. Valor simply stood there, unfazed by their warning hissing as they immediately surrounded him.
One of them swung his dagger at him but Valor simply waved his hand and he was struck in the leg with a brief yet impactful crimson orb that jerked him backwards hard.
"Arrgh!" the Na'vi said
Valor sighed, "I don't recommend trying to attack me." He said, "It won't end well."
The others were glaring at him as they stood cautiously, pointing their spears at him. The woman let go of the one she was choking and turned to face Valor, her posture was but an alluring one. Valor couldn't help but scan her lower body, as if he was examining her legs.
"Sky Man." She said, slowly walking towards him
"I'm not a Sky Person." Valor said, "That is wrong."
"Wrong?" She said with a smile, "You.....hold a strange ability. You make fire?"
"Among other things." Valor said, "Do you want me to show you? I can burn your whole posse here and not bat an eye. But that is not what I want to do. You see, there is-"
"Shut up." She cut him off, a scowl on her face, "What is your name?"
"Valor." He said
"Valor." She repeated, "Hm..."
"And yours?" Valor asked, his head tilting to the side
"Fufu...." She said with a sadistic smile,
"I am Varang."
