Chapter 1 - War has a Worth

A boy (age 7 to 10) is standing on the top of a valley and looking toward the front. His expression is frightened as he sees a huge satellite structure falling from the sky, directly toward the city in front of him.

'No… why is SF falling… wasn't it for our betterment?' (tears come to his eyes) My dad is still in the city. The SF falls and a huge blast happens. The boy screams, Nooo… my dad sob… is still sob… there.

ITS YEAR 2128The World War 3 has ended and the world is on the brink of its end. Everywhere there is destruction, but one region is far away from this destruction—it's a city. It's the City of Light, but still it is not like the world it used to be. Plants have gone extinct; only a few samples remain with scientists. The land is no longer suitable for the growth of vegetation. Humans are now born with many defects and organ failures. The fertility rate has dropped drastically. The temperature is boiling everyone, but still humans have not lost hope—they are living…

Kartik gets out of the car. He is wearing a white suit with a logo of three concentric circles on his left chest and nine small square symbols on his right chest. He is holding a gun.

He moves toward the gate. Thud. He hears gunshots. Kartik takes out a syringe and injects a liquid into his arm. After a few seconds, he enters the city—C2.

In a room, a man is sitting with his back visible.

Beep beep.

The man picks up the device. Hello Mahendra, Kartik is going into C2. You should also move.

The man replies, "Okay sir, I will do it."
