Part 1: Max's perspective:
I sat in my room, watching the local news, until I got a message. A notification that I wouldn't normally get. The sender was our homeroom teacher, as she sent the message, I noticed one thing.
The line: Be careful. A line so different from the normal school environment we are in. Those lines gave me chills down my spine.
"Well looks like the devils have come to life."
Knowing who exactly he was referring to. I made an analysis based decision. I picked up my phone and called Rial. His number was picked up by a girl.
"Hello," Nananse replied.
"Hi, can I speak to Rial." I asked.
"Huh! he is in the bathroom so I can't go. I can just tell him your message." She asked but I didn't trust her.
"No can you tell him to call me, it is about his village." I said a lie to cover up my main purpose.
After the call I waited for about 18 minutes, until I heard the tone of my phone ringing again. It came from the Rial, I think he had finished bathing. He was standing right on my door.
I went and opened the door, the communication will be short but the event of the night will be long. For he will meet the murder of his parents once again.
"So what is the problem?" He asked
"To make it clear you are about to meet him." I said.
"Do you mean, him."
"Yeah."
I took my jacket and headed outside with him. I closed my door and took the elevator downstairs. We walked through the snowy street, crossed the inner section, and took multiple corners. Then lastly jumped over the school walls.
We were met by my homeroom teacher, who was surprised by the presence of Rial but he quickly got over it. He told us to follow him into the school. We first crossed the entrance of the school. Then we walked to the elevator, which took us to the highest floor. We arrived at the 5th floor, then after we walked to the last door on the floor. The door was golden. Then as we walked in, we saw the shadowy figure of a person sitting on a spinning chair.
Without a doubt, I knew it was him.
Rushed Tsukasa.
"So, what are you doing here!?" I asked.
"Hmm... So this is where you came to hide from me. I can say I am impressed, you have successfully flown out of radar. But I guess it is time to come home!"
He said that with an expressionless face. The audacity of this man was really incredible, but I am not going back there. Not even if God told me so.
"Sorry but I am not going!" I said while looking at him, with pure hatred on my face.
"Why do you want him so bad, don't you have many weapons up your sleeve, don't you? Rial asked while maintaining a calm expression.
"Why would I leave my weapon in such a horrible place like this school?" He asked.
"That's because you have the power you need, do you?" Rial asked.
"For a child, who just seen the murderer of his parents. You don't seem faced do you?"
"Nope, I just know one day I will kill you, that is all I know." He said.
"Wait hold on. You don't have the power to bring me back do you?"
If he had, his body guards will be here. And the appearance of the queen here also means that without her, he wouldn't have had the authority to arrive here. The power he has now is all borrowed authority.
"What do you mean?"
"The simple answer is I am not going with you." I said simply.
"Wow, this children are impressive." The queen, who had just stayed silent calmly complimented us.
"While your time is out" the teacher said.
"Well, I will be back. Really soon." He said.
"Oh wait be careful the real plan has just started!" He said with a smile.
After that the teacher led us out of the room and drove us in his carriage. He apologized for not doing anything. He was really powerless and was crushed by the authority they held in the kingdom. After 1 hour we reached our dorms and went to sleep for the night.
Part 2: Rial's perspective: The plan of Nanase.
During the time we arrive, I decided to make one more stop before I attend home for the night. So instead of stopping at floor 8, where my dorm room is located. I changed the bottom to floor 9, where Rui's room was located. It was 18 seconds away if you took the stairs but I prefer the elevator since it is faster.
I arrived at the floor, and took careful steps to his room. It was silent, and so as not to disturb his neighbours. I called him instead, the bell rang for a full minute before he picked up.
//"Hello, Rial." // He said.
//"Hey, can you open your door." //
//"Sure but why." //
//"I need you to do something for your class." //
//"Sure" //
And a moment later the chain on his door, was unlocked. I calmly walked in and took a seat. The things we are going to discuss will be heavy and important for his class.
"So what are you going to talk about." He asked,
"Well first I am going to get straight to the point." I said.
"Don't leave me hanging."
Hmm.
"First I need you to expel Yagami. He is the main perpetrator behind the rumors surrounding Christina but he does have support too," as I looked into his eyes, I saw the slight hesitation in them. Looks like I was wrong, Rui Minami is way too good for his good. And if he keeps getting this way his dream will ever come true.
"Why isn't there a way to resolve this without any problems." He asked as his gaze met mine.
"No there is not. And Rui you are not strong enough so stay back and let Christian solve this problem." I said.
We walked for a while but the time was changing drastically.
As a wise man once said; the way to victory is not by kindness nor truthfulness, but by the winning will to win. If Rui is pushed to his absolute limit, he would have to face the cruel face of reality.
"Hey. Do you think I am ready for this. Even if you think about it, we are just kids; only 11 years old." His voice sounded down, is it feeling that emotion.
Em, what is called. I closed my eyes trying to recall the name of that certain expression?
Oh he is feeling ambivalent.
The uncomfortable mental tug-of-war, where you hold two opposing emotions or desires at the exact same time. It's not just being unsure-it's the sensation of having one foot on the gas and another on the brake.
"I got this, Princess Christina is with you through all this remember. You also have all your friends here with you." I said simply. I am sure this will calm him down for a bit. "Well, anyways I have to head out is it quite late."
"Oh yeah, your knife is with Max right."
"I am not sure he returned it or not." I said.
Part 3: Arisu and Nanase plans of sacrifice:
Princess Christina:
It has been 5 bays since the exams were announced, and 4 days since the false rumors about began spreading. At first I was surprised that someone would dare shame a princess like me.
Whoever thought of this was a true genius, since I wasn't able to track the person with my soul eyes. Not even a trace of it was left. Naturally I suspected people like Max, Rial, Eigi, Rio, or Kakashi.
But as I thought further, I later realised they would gain nothing by destroying me. Because they were all above me, I cruel thought consumed me like a quicksand. I felt numb throughout my body.
Then the realisation hit me, the only person who liked destroying people for fun would be.
Hmm, maybe I am entirely wrong but let's just assume. It's Arisu, isn't it.
If it is her then I have the perfect counter to her.
You see in grade school, when we were about to meet Rial a year later. Back when we were 6 years old. The higher-ups children had arranged a tea party, this party was just an introduction of the future of the kingdom on the surface. But on the surface it was a cruel prank to play with the other children gathered.
She made people gathered over there one by one, made them reveal their crushes. Then later she personally flirts with them. Because the majority of them were boys, it worked. The sadness of the other girls was unbearable, that I chose to leave that life behind me. That was when I think she developed this hatred towards me.
Well, I think it is time for some comeback.
Knowing this, I wrote her whole crime on a sheet of paper. The crime about the girls, the bulling, the hidden cameras. I had written everything on a sheet of paper. Then I sent it to all the mail boxes around the school. This will sure bring her down but I guess I should probably be ready. She will be coming here anytime soon. All this happened yesterday after all. Just as I looked to the outside window, I heard the angry but smiling face Arisu approaching.
"What is this," she asked while looking at me.
"Precisely what it is." I said.
"So, we are going that far. Huh."
"What are you talking about." I asked.
"You are trying to be a wise man, but as smart as you are you don't have the ability to be one of us geniuses." She said while smiling to herself. This is what I hated about myself, though I knew it was true I tried to lie to myself. I told myself. "I will definitely get to their level but I guess that is all a mere dream."
"Maybe she is not but you aren't either." Said Rui.
"Oh, if it is not the failed prodigy Rui. Well I can't say anything further, can I." Her tone was laced with irony and sarcasm. She knew both of our weaknesses and she was pressing them one by one.
"Well, then let me see. You have to say goodbye to your partner. Since today is his last day."Said Rui.
"Hmm. Is that so?"
"Maybe who knows." Rui replied.
Arisu had no idea of what was coming, she had thought that the blank asylum students were invisible. She believed only people like Max, Rial, Lily, Rui and herself had the intelligence and the power to rival them. So naturally she didn't think they would be able to expel Yagami.
Max's perspective:
Meanwhile at night time at the central districts.
Stain and I had met for the meeting about an alliance that should be kept in secret. We both agreed on tea and later discussed the matter further. Just as he turned I was a knife Rial had given me days earlier. But it was his back covered by his clothes, he acted cheerful around me often too.
He acted this way to catch me off guard but he wouldn't fool me. I studied the place where is knife was located with my soul eyes. It was as if he was trying to kill or worse injure someone. But who would be? I wonder.
His acted so far had been towards the benefits of our classes, not for himself. This all was the doing of someone really intelligent. What is he trying to achieve at this stage in life?
"What are you thinking about?" He asked.
"Oh, nothing. Can we go now." I said simply.
Stain perspective:
Well I hope you enjoy your last at this day. Then later I will focus on that guy Rial, his name was. You both are wealth over 200 gold coins, so we are all trying to expel you to get those benefits.
Max perspective:
We both walked through the busy district, then later we met up with Nanase, Ichika and Eiichiro. They were all members of different classes, but we all agreed to have a neutral conversation. A conversation about our normal daily life. Nanase started: her days were relatively simple. She wakes up, bathes, makes breakfast, goes to school, comes back then makes dinner. Ichika was more adventurous: she starts her day by running a marathon around the school, then eats at the local convenience store. After that she goes to school, and when she comes back she makes herself a light dinner then falls asleep.
Stain follows a regular schedule: he bathes, eats breakfast, goes to school, comes back home, makes dinner, plays for a bit, does his homework, then does a light readying before going to bed.
We got out of the cafe and started walking to a silent valley in the street. We crossed the street to the side of the school. Took multiple curves and corners, we passed through the main alley way. We walked until we saw no one on the silent street. Knowing that we were completely alone Stain pulled up a knife. He said shouting out orders at us but no one moved.
I had planned ahead and started recording everything,
"Hey, Max do you want to know the most satisfying thing in this world?" He asked in mockery towards me.
"I don't have a particular example so no." I said.
"It is when you achieve what everybody told you 'it is not possible' but you did." He said in a voice that sounded like he already won.
"Is that so."
He quickly removed hands that held the knife towards his leg. With a quick lightning boost forward. I sped up towards him. He tried to fasten up the process of stabbing but I was faster. The movement of his hand indicated one thing.
I sped faster this time, I timed everything perfectly. The hand posture, the accuracy, the movement. And with a last minute efforts I sped up, then I pierced my hand into the kitchen knife he held.
Blood spread everywhere.
Stain's face seemed to freeze at the sight before him. Nananse's face was darken, Eiichiro seemed very confused. Well their plan was very complex if you try to think about it.
Nanase got the knife from Rial's room after I returned it, then she passed it to Ichika, who had organised all the meetings. Ichika then gave it to Stain, after that Nanse told him about the 200 gold coins about us. Their second plan also failed because Eiji is in my room right now. That is why Nanase and Ichika are here, they wouldn't get to my room. And right about now Rial is also fighting one of the black asylum's best fighters.
Rial's perspective:
I stood there facing my most powerful enemy yet.
Ever since I fought Rushed back then, I have never fought with anyone with just hand to hand combat. Nople, the right hand of Rushed stood there facing me.
Max had called me, at his words I faced this man. His words conveyed this message.
"Do not let that man enter my room."
A short yet chilling message.
Nople looked at me and said.
"So you are the famous Rial, I have been hearing about. You look just like a kid." He said as looked at the 11 year old boy in front of him.
"Though I am a kid, our mental fortitude to process things aren't on the same level." I said as I read every attack he has ever learned.
"Hmm. You are just a mere child. Rial you are strong, smart and brave but you do not know the deep depth of the sea. Do you?" His message told a poetic sign in it, but he didn't want me to understand but unlucky for him I already do.
"Though I do not know the deep depth of the sea, I do know the depth and mass of the sky. No matter how strong your opponent is there will always be a weakness behind it. And as for you your weakness is just 'my existence'."
"Those are heavy words you say." He said.
"No matter the weights of an object, if two people work on it, the job is sure to be done."
"Then get ready, this is going to be just hand to hand combat."
He rushed towards me using lightning magic. He had enchanted himself with lighting magic, which increased his speed, strength, agility and mobility. He charged at me trying to hit my face. The core of my mana is stretched to that point.
Everybody in this world has something that is called mana. Mana is the natural life in a spirit form in our bodies. Which also determines how much natural energy we get in our lifetime, but it is also a nature itself.
A spirit is formed due to too much magical energy, that has been concentrated on one spirit covenant. Spirits are natural mana, that have been reformed as a creature of their liking.
Nople right now has seen my magic core that is connected to my head, the main core is located at the bottom of my stomach. Meaning even if he manages to hit my head, the cost will be futile,meaning that the fight isn't over yet.
I concentrated the mana flowing through me, then I connected the mana link between me and Garmish. Then I stretched out my arm and said.
"Dragon mark activate."
Immediately a different aura surrounded the place, the aura of a pure dragon has been stopped at the scene. Nople fist missed me in inches, at that moment was when he finally saw the dragon mark around my arm.
"Huh."
He had no idea what I was using.
"This is a new trick I learned the other day." I said.
I concentrated on the arm that has been marked by the dragon magic, then tightened my fist into a punch. With one clean hit he fell down, but just as immediately he stood back up again. His body was in deep pain but to honour his master, he is giving up his health.
He rushed one time, this time he dove in the air trying to kick me. I timed his feet, exactly the moment of impact. His made contact with my stomach but at the moment I crossed both my arms and blocked it.
Then I held his feet and threw him over the tree we were standing in front of. As he flew mid air, his consciousness reawakened again. He used air magic to balance his weight and land a perfect landing. Then after he focused on his magic essence, he created a water shark that was held by an ice giant. The ice giant was huge but not as tall as a long mountain. It was tall enough that up close it was a giant but if you are in the school building it is not as tall.
The ice giant rushed at me, its speed was incredible but not fast enough to challenge me. I floated in the air for a bit then, I manipulated my magical essence to create 7 ice robs. The ice rods were a copy of Rui's mana rods. Which can absorb someone's entire mana in an instant.
The rods stuck the giant, which then pinned it to the ground. Using my dragon mark I absorb the giant. His mana, life energy, and magical nature, at the end only it body remained.
"How strong is this kid, man I wished I brought him along." Said Nople as he ran out of mana.
Using the ice rods once again, I pinned him to the ground and said.
"Going home and train until you are strong enough." I said calmly to him.
On his level now, people like Max, Kakashi, Eigi, Rio, Lee, Alfred, Christina and myself can all beat him single-handedly.
Then after that I turned off my dragon mark and called Eigi.
//"Hey, is the job done." // I asked him.
//"Yeah it is."// He said.
Eigi's perspective:
Somehow they managed to get into Max's room. The mere chance of them getting him to allow them to enter his room is merely 30%. Then how did they get in without him knowing. They also managed to somehow take Rial's kitchen knife from his room.
"Oh, so that's what their plan was."
They wanted Stain to stab himself, then report it the high-ups, exams or not Max will be likely expelled. Whether Rial was involved or not he would likely also get punishment but not as hard as Max. Because it was his kitchen knife he would be suspended for some time. The intuition of Rial's own pure eyes is amazing, and the one he gave me is just as amazing. But even Max didn't solve the whole puzzle, but I did. Why is that?
"That is because you have an intuition that is far from the abilities of other special eyes." Some said in the mind.
"Who are you?"
"I am someone who watches from the heavens, do not worry. All of your destinies end with what you want, if you put in the effort." The said then vanished.
He was likely the person who gave his eyes to Rial, his father. But how did he talk to me in the real world. Well, I should not be surprised, he did talk to him after he died so this is not surprising.
Rui's perspective:
Yagami has just been expelled, I did as Rial told me to do. But I would have never known how rotten people are in this world. He threatened to kill me if I didn't stop talking.
Rial told me to figure how to make someone emotional break down. It turns out that Yagami is quite emotional. It turns out that he was behind everything. Christina's rumors it was him, the misinformation about the school it was him. The pictures that were sent to him mail of the office it was him. He was a troublesome person that needed to go. And so I gave him a free VIP ticket to the black asylum.
He cursed me as he talked out of the school.
"I will never forgive you!" He said in anger.
"I didn't ask for forgiveness." I calmly said to him. For such a talented young man, the ideas you were raised with is the road to your downfall.
Yagami's perspective:
Ever since I was a child, I have heard the same words over and over again. As talented as I am, I would never be the center of attention. No matter how I read books, no matter how much I practised I would never be number 1.
But then the attention on him stopped, at first I thought maybe this was my time to shine but as it turns out, I am always number 2.
I heard that Max, the untouched god of his generation had escaped. The person who helped him escape was severely punished. But deep in my heart he was my hero, my savior as he had moved the stone of darkness from my face.
Rui's perspective:
First I wrote a letter that was addressed to Yagami. Then I waited for him to get to the student council office, where the president; President Nagumo sat. He looked at him with disgust upon knowing all the wrong things he did. He immediately removed him from the student council room. Which brought out all his emotions.
Rial's perspective:
It turns out that everyone here worked tonight. So naturally Kakashi invited us all to eat at a barbecue downtown in the district near the sea. The moon light hit all our faces as we sat down. There were two moons, each moon gravitating on opposite sides. One on the west and one on the east. We all sat there reminiscing about our future ahead.
"Well, I am thinking of stating here," said Eiichiro".
"I will graduate this school then track down Rial on where he would be at that time." Said Max who was eating a baked chicken.
"I think I will follow Max when we graduate." Eigi said as he started thinking ahead of time.
"I guess, I will head back to the Star kingdom after graduation." Said Rui. "Though I will track you down too when I need some help."
"I think I will just follow the path of life," said Lee, who was grilling his beef.
"I think first I will track a friend down, then I will place her somewhere safe. After that I go on a journey to research about my parents." I said as I faintly smiled.
"Did you just smile." Said Eiichiro, who had never seen me smile.
"Yeah I did," I said.
"I never would have known." Said Alfred.
"Well, if you were funny and fun in any other way, I would smile more often." I said casual, trying to get some reaction from them.
"Wow!"
"Nice one!" said Max who also faintly smiled.
For the night we all drank soft drinks and ate meat until our stomachs wouldn't handle it. After that we all agreed on spending the night in Eiichiro's room. On our way there we encountered Nanase, Ichika, Tsubaki, Nonoa and Arisu. They had also finished partying. We gave them a respected bow and walked away. Then we went to Eiichiro's room and slept.
