A day had passed since the assessment test was done, and now had everything set in place for the outside drills. Many students as usual are scared since they do not have the fighting experience that some of us do. This also goes on to remind me of how much weak most these students are really.
"Can you follow along with me," said Arisu. She was standing beside me waiting for an answer. Despite her appearance she is quite strong and intelligent, as shown during her fights in the dream world.
"What do you want!"
I said with a sigh, the previous events had left my body sore and I needed sleep right then.
"Don't worry I will make it quick." She said.
"Fine. Where do we meet."
We started to walk towards the lobby, we then took a curve and turned to the school hallway. Most of the classes were now filled with students, who are planning for this exam. About a minute a minute or two, we finally reached the room. As I walked in, the familiar face of Nagumo and Max greeted me.
I knew why she would invite Max but what does the president have to do with this.
"Why is he here?" I asked.
"W-well, you know!" She tried to fool me but I had already seen through her manipulation tactics.
"Spare me the excuses and just speak the words!" I said as I sigh again repeatedly.
"Do not worry. I am here to just organise a bet between you all." Nagumo said.
"Huh?"
"You know about the next exams coming right,"
"Yeah." I said.
"Well. I have thought of multiple ways to make it better. What do you think?"
"What do you mean psycho."
"I mean, why don't we test our abilities. You see we didn't get our match back then so why not now." Arisu said. Then Max who had just been silent spoke up.
"So."
"Let's see. The class that loses the comping exams would have to do anything for what the winner says." Arisu explained the stake of bet.
I must say she is smart but not now our lever. But then again there is time for her to grow.
"Sure I don't mind." I said.
"I am in." Said Max.
But I wonder, will Rio hold back or is he going on full in lock in mode, I don 't know about Eigi is the one who would be in the most danger. But Eigo can really beat him up if he misbehaves. His strongest strengths are his super intellects, reasoning and incredible caster of magic.
"What are these." Asked Nanase. She looked quite happy at seeing the flower petals for to the snow.
"Those are pink roses or some people can say 'Sakura'. But when its falls on the snow they seem as Yuki. Which means the beautiful flower fallen from the tree to the beauty of the snow.
"That is it huh!" Said Lily.
"Yeah. Takes me back." I said while looking a little downcast.
"Hey Nanase, your classmates are looking for you." She said.
"Okay, bye bye senior-Ri! Oh sorry I meant to say Rial."
"Yeah."
"You happened to know someone called Yuki? Didn't you?"
"I supposed I did." Suddenly there was a large atmosphere of tension started building. And for a moment Lily almost seemed to cry.
"Hey! What is wrong?"
"I-I am so relieved that you are here."
She started tearing up like a baby, who had just now seen her mother in months. I tried helping her to stand. But she did want that, instead she held onto the frame of my body. Our bodies were holding each, or I would say; she was holding me completely still.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
Though I was starting to get where this was leading, but I still need confirmation to allow that thought.
"Do you remember memories of you in a different world. Where magic didn't exist and people you do know but don't exist here." She asked.
"Yeah, that version of me, did exist. But now I have come to make peace with that version of me. For I know even if I pretend I wasn't Riah Amakawa first, that will obviously be a lie. So instead I correct my mistakes and wish for the best outcome."
The tone of my voice was soft, now realising the person in front of me this whole time, I suddenly felt happy again.
"So, it is really you huh! Riah? Lily suddenly asked.
"Yeah it is me."
"Then have you encounter Mary."
"Er no! I am sorry I haven't but I promise you this. If I find out where she is, I will cross the heavens to hell to just find her!"
"You are funny sometimes you know." She said.
"Ah, sure I guess."
She ran to me then jumped to hug me, but for a moment there I thought our lips were going to crush but it didn't. To guess all this came from a simple flower fall. Life is really interesting.
