Silas's POV
The noise from Toby's birthday celebration filled every corner of my penthouse in a way I never expected. Through the garden windows, I watched him sprint across the grass while one of my staff members tried desperately to catch him, a tiny paper crown clutched in her hands. The warm hum of conversation and laughter created an atmosphere I wasn't accustomed to in this space.
Pastel balloons danced gently above the decorated table, and a small banner bearing his name fluttered each time the breeze swept through. We kept the gathering intimate because Bella wasn't prepared to publicly acknowledge him as my son, and frankly, I preferred it this way. Neither of them needed that kind of exposure yet. This felt right.
