Chapter 1 - More Power!

The Old Ones were an ancient, technologically and psychically advanced intelligent species. They established an interstellar empire across the Milky Way Galaxy many years ago and ruled over it before the development of most other sentient species in the galaxy. They possessed extremely advanced technology and potent psychic powers, which made them essentially the masters of the Immaterium; at least initially. The Immaterium was an alternate dimension of pure psychic energy, the source of all psychic powers.

The Old Ones wanted to appear as a benevolent and gentle species, but no one could tell whether that was true. The only ones who might have known the truth were the Necrontyr who approached the Old Ones and asked them for help at some point.

The Necrontyr were a humanoid species that began their existence under a fearsome and rather unforgiving star in the far reaches of the galaxy known as the Halo Stars region. The star's radiation assaulted them, causing them to be affected by terrible cancers and very uncomfortable and short life spans. So, the Necrontyr escaped their homeworld and dived into space, hoping to find a way for their Empire to prosper and be free of their lethal situation. At some time, the Necrontyr encountered the Old Ones, who had already dealt with such 'small' problems as life spans, diseases, and pain. They were absolute masters of technology, which the Necrontyr couldn't hope to achieve. When confronted with the request of giving the Necrontyr the secret to eternal life, the Old Ones refused, despite seeing the genetic curse of the Necrontyr.

So, the Necrontyr went to war against the Old Ones, trying to force them to give them what they wanted. They lost. The Necrontyr were driven back to the point where they became little more than a nuisance to the Old Ones' control of the galaxy, a nonexistent threat remaining on their irradiated planet within the Halo Stars, exiled and overlooked. The Necrontyr's rage gradually evolved into a profound hatred for all other intelligent beings and an unyielding resolve to take revenge on the Old Ones.

And as it happened, the Necrontyr got their chance... in a way. Primordial energy beings approached the Necrontyr, known as the C'tan. They were electromagnetic energy given form and were immensely powerful, and promised the Necrontyr a way to get their revenge on the Old Ones. So they began creating and forging physical shells for the C'tan to occupy, from the living metal the Necrontyr used, called necrodermis. After they took on physical form, the C'tan developed a hunger. Usually, the C'tan consumed the energy from the stars, but as they appeared in their new forms, they realised that the souls of living beings provided them with far more nourishment and satisfaction than the energy of a star could.

The C'tan promised to give the Necrontyr everything they wanted, immortality and unity, which they didn't have before. And so, after thinking about the C'tan's proposition, the Necrontyr agreed to undergo the process of 'Biotransference'. The Necrontyr willingly walked into the furnaces and shed their organic bodies, inhabiting cold, metal bodies made from necrodermis. And as the Necrontyr's souls were ripped away from them, and they experienced the worst pain imaginable, the C'tan feasted on their souls in delight. But not only that, but they also took away their freedom, effectively turning them into slaves.

After that, the War in Heaven against the Old Ones started anew, and this time, the newly named Necrons had the power of technology on their side. The C'tan whispered the secrets of physics into their ears, allowing them to create technological wonders and weapons that surpassed even the Old Ones' imagination. The dead were moving forward, and the Old Ones, and all of life, were plunged into a war for their survival.

The Old Ones were responsible for creating the Krorks to fight against the massive threat of the dead, the Necrons. The Old Ones created different races and species, but they created two that stood out among them, and they hoped to use them against the Necrons and their C'tan masters: the Aeldari and the Krorks. Knowing that the C'tan were highly vulnerable to psychic energies, the Old Ones had designed their new warrior species to be psychically linked to the Immaterium and able to use its power in destructive ways. This, however, would prove to have disastrous consequences.

During these war times, the Aeldari learnt many secrets of the Warp from the Old Ones. From this knowledge, the Aeldari developed technologies that ultimately enabled them to exploit and expand the Webway in later times. They are strong, fast, brilliant, and physically inclined. The Krorks, on the other hand... were as well. But where the Aeldari were delicate, and Elf-like, the Krorks were Ork-like... literally. But surprisingly, the Krorks did not have the Ork-like intellect one might expect; rather, they were incredibly smart. They were huge and physically powerful, reaching up to 12 metres on average.

.

On a planet somewhere in the galaxy, on another front of the battle between the living and the dead, in a Krork camp, we find Azkull, our main character. He was in the process of creating another weapon and mending his armour, as he had to constantly. The door was broken as another Krork crashed through it. That wasn't unusual; the Krorks didn't give a hoot about social norms and expressed themselves differently than humans or the Aeldari would. Doors were merely decorations anyway.

"BOSS, another attack from the tin-cans. I think one of the named characters is with them this time. Meteors are falling from the sky," the Krork told Azkull.

"I can hear that, Skarzot, but I already arranged for our group to prepare for my arrival. We knew they would come, so this isn't surprising. Tell Nargrunt to stop his grunting and get to fucking work. I can't create all of our weapons by myself. Fucks sake." Azkull said as he finished the repairs and upgrades of his armour.

Skarzot grunted and left, telling the others to prepare.

Azkull stood up to his full height of almost 15 meters. He was without a doubt the biggest, baddest and strongest of all the Krorks present and future, and he knew that for certain, because he knew the future to some degree. He wasn't always a Krork; he used to be a human. It was peculiar for him to wake up as the first Krork ever created by the Old Ones, with his memories intact. He was in the grim dark future of a terrible reality and knew that he was dead... at least in the first couple of picoseconds. Then the gift he was thankfully bestowed, kicked in: The Essence of the Krork.

His mind was enhanced to supernatural levels, even for the 40k standards. He gained beyond genius-level intellect and everything that went with it. He became a Krork, not a human in a Krork body; he was, and is, a Krork with intelligence that couldn't be grasped and the body to go with it. Despite his intelligence, the first thing he did was roar loudly, expressing his emotions that way... The Old Ones didn't understand what he said, but it sounded like "WAAAGH."

Azkull looked at the Old Ones for a while. They were interested to see what their newest creation was about to do. Was he going to fight the Necrons? Would he give them a grand spectacle? Would he be able to use the Warp like the Aeldari?

...

No.

Azkull punched the shit out of the Old Ones, stole some of their technology and then just jumped out of the space station. And that's how it all started. The world, below the space station, where the Old Ones created Azkull, was thankfully not infested with Necrons at that point, which gave him enough time to spread spores left and right and create more and more Krorks in preparation for the glorious war.

But he realised that their war efforts were not going well. The other Krorks that the Old Ones created weren't able to keep up with what the Necrons and their C'tan masters did, and while the war made them stronger, they died faster than they could create new ones. And the Necron weaponry was working against their biology. The Gauss weapons didn't allow for spores to spread when they killed the Krorks. The C'tan worked around the Krorks and had developed ways to eliminate them. Azkull was creating better and better technology, but the assault and seeming mass production of the Necrons was unending, since the C'tan could create matter out of nothing.

Azkull was unhappy; out of all the Krork clans, he was the only one who had managed to truly prosper and grow, while the others emerged and were then eradicated by the Necrons.

But this was noticed. The C'tan had started a series of campaigns against Azkull's clan, and it was showing. They needed more power and bigger weapons of a similar or higher degree to those of the Necrons. So he had created a plan to simply take what the Necrons had and use it for themselves. Why not? It was the best way for them to access such technology quickly, turn it into scrap, and then create something they wanted from their husks.

He was in the process of creating a portal through the multiverse and was close to finishing. He wouldn't let his clan get destroyed, no matter how smart the C'tan thought themselves to be. So, he would take those who remained to another universe for preparation. And he had one in mind.

.

Azkull walked forward, dressed in his wargear and armed to the teeth with his weapons of mass destruction.

"Is everything ready?" he asked.

"Hah, indeed. The metal shits won't know what hit them."

"Load the cannons," Azkull commanded.

"LOAD THE CANNONS!" Nargrunt shouted.

In the distance, the Necron vessels were seen descending to the ground and the air as they began their attack. There was an impeccable order to Necron attacks, something Azkull didn't like at all. Deep inside him was a chaotic and savage being that, while beyond genius in intelligence, enjoyed causing chaos on the battlefield and confusing the enemy with as many big guns and weapons as he had. And the 'cannon' as he called it, was one of those things, which he had created, that always managed to cause some initial chaos.

Far back, a massive Titan-class machine could be seen. If one had to compare it to something, it would be the future Mega Gargants of the late Orks. But this was barely used as a Titan by the Krorks; it was used as a suit for them to operate individually. A large cannon started to roar to life, and the Krork operating the Giga Suit, as it was called, started the loading phase. On the ground, Krorks in specialised suits ran forward and entered a chamber that sucked them into a loading zone inside the suit. Hundreds of Krorks were sucked in, and then the Krork using the Giga Suit received the signal to start.

"Fire," Azkull said.

"FIREEEEE!!!"

*BOM BOM BOM BOM BOM BOM BOM BOM*

From the large cannon, the Krorks fired at the Necron fleet in the air like a machine gun. This had the useful effect of sending Krorks behind enemy lines and into the air, where they damaged the flyers. Krorks had their own flyers, but they didn't send them out first... just because. It made sense... trust them on this.

However, this was merely the initial greeting; more attacks were on the way. The Necrons would not take that lightly and deal with it quickly, which was why the Krorks worked fast. Their latent bloodlust and fighting spirit already started to manifest. WAAGH energy was building up fast.

Necron Warriors were marching towards them in their perfect formation, and the order that the Necron Overlord commanded. In response to this, the Krork Boys rushed from all sides, crashing into the Necrons and going absolutely nuts on them. Even the Krork Boys were already 10 meters tall and truly powerful. But they were also armed with armour and weapons surpassing anything their Ork descendants could create.

"WAAAAAAAGGGHHHHH!"

The sound just fit. It wasn't supposed to mean anything. It was just fun to yell. It was a battle cry, and because of that, it was associated with fighting, blood, gore, violence, enjoyment and winning, which meant it automatically raised the Krork's battle lust and fighting spirit, manifesting it and making them more powerful. Everyone knew that, and that's why it was true.

Large explosions took place, signalling the mines that had been set up beforehand and culling the immortal Necrons. Azkull had a hard time resisting the urge to move forward and understood the need to wait a moment longer.

Immortals, higher-end basic infantry Necrons, appeared and started firing their Gauss weapons at the Krorks. Azkull's new armour allowed them to block one or two shots of the Gauss weapons, but after that, they were hit directly. Using the WAAGH energy, though, the effect and damage could be negated to a degree, and if Azkull himself was present, this turned things up to a million.

"Fire the Ordinati," Azkull commanded.

Azkulll had replicated the Ordinati of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Ordinati are Leviathan-sized warmachines with specialised weapons configured for their intended role. Azkull had mounted them on the Giga Suits. Hundreds of sonic disruptors were fired towards the Necrons.

*VROOOOOM*

The clever placement of the Giga Suited Krorks dealt heavy damage to the approaching Doomsday Arks and Ghost Arks of the Necrons. But the Necrons didn't wait to respond to this. Annihilation Barges fired back and caused massive damage to the Giga Suits. Then the Tomb Blades started to cause havoc from the air, flying at unnatural angles and incredible speeds. But this was where the Krork chaos came into play; they didn't care about the 'unpredictability' of the Tomb Blades. They just crashed through them all. More power was all they needed.

Then, the moment Azkull had been waiting for came: The Gravitic Trebuchet appeared on the battlefield.

The Gravitic Trebuchet was a class of Necron artillery weapon. It was a giant Canoptek construct shaped like an arachnid. Each of its eight projector spires is a pylon of Noctilith six leagues long. At its centre resided an armoured core containing its engines, command centre, and targeting lenses. The Weapon was designed to accelerate asteroids to speeds faster than light. Its mechanisms created another reality in which the laws of physics were different, and the mass of the launched object became negative, allowing it to reach speeds similar to those of an Inertialess Drive's jump. The Necrons were nuts and unchallenged in terms of technology, but the Krorks were nuts... all around.

Azkull had dealt with them for a while now, but he had found that, while they weren't frequently used, they were among the things that could even disrupt a small-sized WAAGH. And that was saying something. The Waagh's the Krorks were capable of was unreal. So, the Necrons had begun using rapid methods to counter the Krorks, thereby preventing Waagh energy from accumulating. But if a plan was used once, it was no longer a surprise and could be countered, which was precisely what Azkull did.

"Fire up the Big Booms," Azkull commanded as he saw the state of the battlefield.

Zogwarp, the science boy of this month, handed Azkull a device with several buttons. Science boys usually changed once every few months, as the experiments Azkull conducted often exploded and killed anyone weaker than him. He had had one or two moments where he nearly killed himself as well. But that was what it means to be fearless and in love with what you were doing.

The Gravitic Trebuchet activated, and the asteroids were accelerated. At that exact moment, Azkull pressed the first button on the device he was holding.

"Show me!" he barked, and Zogwarp showed him a screen with graphics and many numbers. The speed of the asteroid accelerated higher and higher, and just before it reached light speed, Azkull pressed another button. A big and truly savage smile appeared on his face, threatening to split his head.

The asteroid surpassed the speed of light and zoomed through space-time. And then... it impacted the planet.

*....ooooooOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM*

The asteroids ripped the planet in half, sending shockwaves through the remaining chunks. But not the Krork's were hit... no, the Necrons were. Azkull had hollowed out all the asteroids in space, above the planet, and outfitted them with monstrous engines and targeting technology, so powerful that they could move the asteroids as soon as he sent the signal. The Gravitic Trebuchet basically accelerated asteroids with a homing beacon to the Necrons' location. And for good measure, the Krorks filled the remaining space with explosives.

"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

The Krorks cheered and shouted in happiness. They enjoyed explosions and anything like them, and this was an enormous one; it even ripped apart the planet. The explosion ripped apart the planet and might have killed all of them, but they were laughing and cheering, like they were watching the Super Bowl. However, the fun was nowhere near over. It had barely just begun. Now was the time to get closer and more personal. It was time for Azkull to join in the fun and start a massive WAAGH.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

He roared at the top of his lungs, and the other Krorks joined in. They stormed the battlefield and got to work. Thousands upon thousands of Necron parts and pieces were lying all over what remained of the battlefield, and hadn't been pulled back. The reason for this was that Azkull had developed a force field to prevent it from happening. He was here to collect Necrons for scrap metal after all. So he couldn't have them escape, now could he?

Necrons were linked to a central node and constantly sent a blocking signal that prevented them from being pulled back or 'phased back'. Once they were damaged or destroyed, the signal was no longer returned, which served as a failsafe. The node sent a highly complex frequency back, and, more or less, 'beamed' the Necrons back, preventing the enemy from studying their technology. How did Azkull do it? And why did the force field have such an effect? He told everyone it did that, and the Krorks didn't care; if he said it worked, so it worked.

The massive WAAGH built up more and more, as they mowed down anything and everything that stood in their way. Nothing survived, not even the dead Necrons. They were shot or ripped to pieces, and the few who remained didn't put up much of a resistance. It would take only a minute for the Necron Overlord and the C'tan to realise that their Warriors and Immortals were not being sent back and are actively losing men.

Azkull didn't care about the damage he took; he stormed forward, grabbing Necron Destroyers and using them like he would a small handgun to fire against other Necrons. Then he crushed it with his hand and threw it forward, like a cannonball. Their energy continued to build up, turning the battlefield green. The C'tan seemed not to have given up on this endeavour, as several altered Pylons rose from the ground and aimed at the approaching horde. More powerful C'tan might now manipulate reality, but they didn't trust anything not to be booby-trapped, so the C'tan relied on its own technology. The Pylon fired at the horde, but the WAAGH's energy was already too powerful, blocking the attacks.

Magma rose from the holes, and the planetary electromagnetic field destabilised. These two forces used the planet as a deadly playground, but it sadly did not survive. The Krorks again simply didn't care; they jumped from one chunk to another to reach their destination and used the Giga Suits to propel each other forward. As time passed, the Krorks grew increasingly powerful, and the damage they could unleash grew; as they inflicted more damage, they grew stronger as well.

.

On the Cairn Class Tomb Ship, chaos was going on. The C'tan, in anger and frustration, ripped things apart and looked at the few Krorks who had damaged their drives, preventing them from providing air support. The brutish Krorks, creatures they looked down upon, had outwitted them and destroyed roughly 90% of the fleet they had brought today.

"GET ME THAT KRORKBOSS'S HEAD!! NOOOOWWW!!!"

"Affirmative," the Necron Overlord uttered emotionlessly and made his way to the battlefield.

The Lychguard followed him to protect him until the very end. They teleported on the battlefield, in front of the approaching WAAGH, together with what is left of the Crypteks, one Necron Lord and a few Destroyers. The Destroyers fired off their Gauss cannons, penetrating the straggler Krork's worn armour and ripping through their powerful skins. But then, the main bulk of the WAAGH arrived.

Azkull saw the Necron Overlord and rushed forward, thinking about nothing right now, only the enjoyment of the fight. The Krork's physiques towered far above the Necrons, who were only keeping up thanks to their incredible technology. But the entirety of the WAAGH hit the last remaining forces of the Necrons, and so the outcome was clear before the fight had even begun.

While Azkull attacked the Necron Overlord, two of his Nobility, or Nobz, Skarzot takes on the Necron Lord and Nargrunt the Lychguard.

The Necron Lord wielded a Staff of Light and fired a highly concentrated energy beam towards Skarzot. However, the Nob was suddenly pushed to the side by Nargrunt.

"I want that one! He looks powerful!" Nargrunt shouted and ran forward.

Nargrunt reached the Necron Lord and swung his power axe downwards. But before he could cut the Necron, he was suddenly hit with explosives from behind.

*Boom boom*

"This one is MINE!" Skarzot shouted and jumped towards the Necron. The Lychguard were busy dealing with the ever-growing horde of Krorks who had begun to overrun them. The Lychguards were equipped with a Hyperphase Sword and a Dispersion Shield. A Hyperphase Sword was a sword outfitted with a molecular agitator that "excited" the constituent molecules of the blade, allowing it to oscillate between quantum states and cutting through almost any material easily. Its destructive capabilities were comparable to the other races' much cruder Power Weapons.

The Lychguard used their Dispersion Shield and blocked incoming projectiles and explosives. But not just that, they moved the shield and deflected the incoming firepower back to the Krorks approaching. As the massive horde approached, the Lychguard swung their Hyperphase Swords through the air with precision. They blocked an attack and moved in to slice through the Krork's gigantic leg.

*Roar*

"Tiny metal men, hurt!!!"

The Krork roared in excitement and grabbed the Lychguard, attempting to rip it in half. This action, however, allowed the Necron to get access to more vital areas of the Krork now and cut through the Krork's armour and slice off his massive hand. Before the Lychgaurd could finish the Krork off, though, the Krork exploded in an enormous ball of fire, as the self-destruct mechanism of his suit went off.

Meanwhile, the Necron Lord had to constantly keep both of the brawling giants in his field of vision and calculate their trajectories and attack paths, so as not to get involved in their fight. They seemed to have forgotten about him and were now just attacking each other. But that was not quite correct. They still remembered their original goal here and used every chance they got when the other was away for a moment to block the Necron Lord's attacks and try to finish him off.

The Necron Lord ordered a few Destroyers to attack the two Krorks. However, he only received a response from one, as all the others were rather busy at the moment. The Destroyer fired his massive Gauss cannon at the Krorks, gaining their attention and finally separating. Nargrunt shot towards the Destroyer, managing to damage him significantly as he rushed forward. Skarzot fired hundreds of rockets towards the Necron Lord from a compartment on his shoulder. The two Nobz reached their respective Necrons at different moments, and while Skarzot had to deal with a Necron Lord, both of them cut through the Necrons simultaneously.

*BOOOM*

"I was first!" Nargrunt roared victoriously.

"NO! I was first!" Skarzot roared back.

"No, ME!"

*BOOM*

"ME!"

*BOOM*

The Necron Overlord swung his Warscythe towards Azkull. Thanks to its entropic field generator, it cut through all types of armour, including heavy energy fields, by disrupting them and cutting what lies underneath. The Phase Blade, whose edge was out of phase with the normal space-time continuum, could slip effortlessly through even the heaviest forms of armour. But the Necron Overlord had to get close to Azkull to do that. Naturally, with a Krork, that wasn't very hard, since you were close to them very early on, their sizes were just that ridiculous. But Azkull was so agile and fast that he would give even the fastest Aeldari a run for their money, and he was growing as the war went on.

Azkull aimed his weapons at the Overlord and dodged out of the way of the powerful energy beams and Gauss cannons cutting through the air towards him. His large size made him an easy target, and only his unbelievable physical prowess kept him from falling behind. He swung his Power Gauntlet towards the Overlord. His fist connected and smashed the Overlord's powerful necrodermis body to the ground, almost folding him into a thin sheet. To finish the Overlord off, Azkull raised his ginormous Power Sword and swung it down, but something impressive happened.

Tiny, spider-like Nanoscarabs swarmed over the Necron Overlord's body. The broken parts were suddenly rebuilt, and a few moments later, the Overlord was back on his feet... just in time to see the incoming Power Sword slice him in half.

*VROOOOM*

Again, this is a Multiverse story. I'll try to keep it ridiculous and amusing.
