Chapter 91 - Chapter 91: Big Trouble

Gu Xinmin was very frustrated.

He had flown fighter jets in the military for twenty years. After leaving the military, he joined Luda Airlines and underwent conversion training, obtaining a commercial pilot's license. After accumulating a large amount of flight time in actual operations and simulators, he recently passed the assessment and became a captain.

This was his second flight as captain, and unexpectedly, he encountered such a serious emergency as a hijacking. Fortunately, Yang Liuyi reported it to him in time, giving him time to inform the ground that the plane had been hijacked.

Gu Xinmin, a former soldier, possessed a strong heart. He calmly addressed the tall, thin man:

"No problem, but please don't harm the passengers and crew."

The tall, thin man chuckled and said:

"That depends on your cooperation..."

Gu Xinmin glanced at the tall, thin man and said:

"I can cooperate, but my colleague is bleeding. I hope you'll allow us to provide him with first aid."

The tall, thin man looked at Gu Xinmin approvingly and smiled, saying:

"Very good! Loyal and righteous! And very pragmatic! I admire you! I grant your request... but whether he survives depends on his luck!"

After saying that, the tall, thin man waved to Yang Liuyi at the cockpit door and said:

"Beautiful lady, please bandage your pilot!"

The flight attendants had all received basic first aid training.

Yang Liuyi quickly found a first aid kit, and with the help of another flight attendant, helped the co-pilot to an empty seat in first class. Seeing the co-pilot's blood-stained neck, Yang Liuyi, suppressing her urge to vomit, performed first aid to stop the bleeding and bandage the wound.

The tall, thin man turned to Gu Xinmin and said,

"Captain, are you satisfied now? If there are no problems, please change course immediately and fly to Bero. Don't give me excuses like insufficient fuel; I know the flight to Bero is shorter than to Sanya."

Bero is an island nation located south of China, with strained relations and no extradition treaty. This makes Bero a haven for some Chinese criminals.

Gu Xinmin nodded helplessly. According to civil aviation law, the captain has the right to comply with the hijackers' demands to ensure the safety of the passengers. He turned the heading control knob on the autopilot, and the massive passenger plane began to slowly turn under its control.

Chen Yang, inside the cabin, keenly noticed the slight tilt of the plane. He knew the hijackers had completely taken control of the cockpit. The plane was deviating from its intended course. But he was helpless at this point; several key positions in the cabin were lurking with menacing eyes.

The tall, thin man seemed to have some aviation knowledge. He carefully examined the navigation map and realized Gu Xinmin wasn't lying to him. He nodded in satisfaction. Then he stood up and said to the man with the mustache:

"Take good care of the captain. If anything happens to him, everyone on board is doomed!"

After saying this, he gave Gu Xinmin a meaningful look and walked back to the passenger cabin. As he passed the first-class section, he even politely nodded to Yang Liuyi, acting like a gentleman.

There were only two passengers in first class. One was a young man in his twenties with a neat buzz cut, dressed head-to-toe in designer brands; the other was about thirty-four or thirty-five years old, wearing a plaid shirt and carrying a leather briefcase. When the tall, thin man passed by, both passengers slightly lowered their heads.

First class was closest to the cockpit, and since the cockpit door was damaged, both passengers had witnessed the entire incident. When the tall, thin man demanded the flight fly to Bero, a hint of anxiety flickered across the resolute face of the middle-aged man in the plaid shirt, and he instinctively clutched his briefcase tighter.

The tall, thin man ignored the two passengers and walked directly through first class, gun in hand, into economy class. A cold smile played on his lips as his venomous gaze slowly swept across the faces of all the passengers. Everyone whose gaze fell upon him involuntarily lowered their heads, and the atmosphere in the cabin became extremely tense.

"Mommy! I'm scared!" A child's voice suddenly broke the silence of the cabin, and the hijackers' eyes immediately turned to him. It was Xiao Zhi, the mischievous little boy from before, who was terrified by the menacing, armed hijackers.

Xiao Zhi's mother quickly covered his mouth, her voice trembling as she whispered,

"Xiao Zhi, be good, Xiao Zhi! Mommy's here!"

A hijacker with a ferocious tiger tattooed on his arm strode over, cocked his gun, and pressed it against Xiao Zhi's mother's forehead, roaring,

"Who told you to speak? Do you want to die?!"
