Chapter 6 - Meeting in the rain

Two weeks later, Nishi was sitting on the roof in the evening, writing in her diary. With no one at home, Nishi was giving her full attention to her writing. She didn't notice when evening turned to dusk while writing in her diary. As it got dark, she stopped writing. She looked around and saw it had become quite dark. Clouds had covered the sky, hiding the moon. Nishi liked the darkness. She kept the diary in her room and stood on the roof looking at the sky. She often did this—staring at the sky, thinking about her wishes. She did the same today. "I don't know when I'll be free from this loneliness." Suddenly, drops of water fell on her face and she opened her eyes. Rain started pouring heavily. Nishi hurriedly ran toward her room. While running, Nishi's foot slipped, but she didn't fall—a boy caught her. Nishi was staring at the boy in surprise. "Are you okay, Butterfly? You're not hurt anywhere, are you?" At the boy's question, Nishi returned to reality. Nishi moved away from the boy and stood at a distance. She said to the boy in an angry voice, "You've come again? To annoy me? What do you get from annoying me?" Nishi put her hand on her head and said, "I know this is a dream." Nishi went to her room and stood in front of the mirror, pinching her arm. As soon as she looked at the mirror, she moved away in fear. The boy was standing in front of the mirror. "Butterfly, why are you afraid?" Nishi kept moving away from the boy. "This can't be. You're a dream." "Yes, I'm a dream... but I've come to reality for you." "That's not possible." "Everything is possible for love. I've come to reality only for you. You think about me every day. I couldn't stay away from you, so I came."
