Chapter 2 - The Princess's Key

I was somewhat surprised—how did the boy understand what was in my mind? The boy started walking with me. After a two-minute walk, we came in front of the palace door. The boy looked at me and smiled again. I became somewhat confused. The boy placed a bunch of keys in my hand. I was extremely astonished, staring with wide eyes. "Why are you looking like that? This bunch of keys is yours from today. Won't you open the palace door?" "I will open the door?" "Yes, you. From this moment on, this palace is yours. You are the princess of this palace. If you don't open the door, who will?" "I-I'm a princess? This palace is m-mine?" Usually I don't stutter, but I couldn't even imagine having a house of my own, but such a large royal palace being mine—just thinking about it gave me goosebumps. "Princess Butterfly, what are you thinking?" I came forward and with trembling hands unlocked the palace door. After entering inside, I looked around in all directions. Suddenly the boy took my hand and started taking me upstairs. He brought me to a room. The room was very large, with four connected rooms—a wardrobe room, a jewelry room, a bedroom, and a washroom. The boy showed me around all the rooms. Now we were standing in the sitting room.
