Man, I might have slightly rushed the ending of this volume.
What can I say except that I screwed up?
However, I won't dwell on it too much. Just expect the next volume to involve the chiefs in the fighting. The Thundergods will also start moving now instead of just spying on our duo.
It will also involve Hideo using a combo for the first time.
I just realized I made Ren go full deranged on the terrorist she killed. Though that's exactly what I expected would happen if she went completely batshit with no mercy toward humans while not fighting a Shuuki.
Anyway, thank you for reading this far, and expect the next volume to have even more combat than Season 1.
