The drive from the hospital to Hiro's apartment took far less time than Izack thought it would. Perhaps because his mind had been elsewhere the entire journey.

For some reason, that sentence refused to leave him alone. Who did he not want to meet, enough to ignore his health? Although, the alpha was told there was nothing to worry about. However, the what-ifs refused to let him stay as calm as he would have liked.
Hiro had looked perfectly exhausted before they left for the filming set. There was no reason for him to discharge himself so quickly unless… Unless Izack was right and the beta simply didn't want anyone to find him.
