## **Chapter 1: Full Moon**
On the night of a full moon, a lone man walked down an empty road.
Moonlight was the only source of illumination, spilling softly over the cracked pavement. The city slept, silent and uncaring. It was already past 2 a.m., yet not a single soul could be seen.
The man had green eyes and black hair, standing around six foot one. His clothes were worn and torn, dust clinging to every fold. One glance at his face told a clear story of hardship, loss, and exhaustion.
He stopped and looked up at the moon.
"It's a full moon tonight…"
The words slipped from his mouth without thought.
His name was **Leon Admist**.
A man forgotten by the world itself.
Once, Leon had been a top scholar in business management and planning. He had loving parents, a cheerful younger sister, and a future that seemed bright and secure.
But fate had written something else for him.
Shortly after graduating from college, his parents died in a car accident. Overnight, Leon became the sole guardian of his younger sister. To keep her in school and provide for their daily needs, he took a job at a small company as an import advisor.
For two weeks, life barely held together.
Then his sister collapsed, vomiting blood.
The diagnosis came like a death sentence.
Stage three cancer.
Despite treatment, she survived only three more weeks.
When she died, Leon was left completely alone.
All purpose drained from his life. Yet his stubborn will refused to let him die. He lived quietly, isolated from the world. With too much time and no one to share it with, he filled his days playing RPG games, reading web novels, watching anime and webtoons.
Lonely, unhappy, but strangely peaceful.
But the world refused to let him live even that much.
One day, his father's closest friend and colleague arrived at his house with several officials. They claimed his father had taken a loan of five million dollars and demanded repayment.
Leon knew it was a lie.
When he confronted the man, he was shown documents bearing his father's signature. Blank papers that had been signed long ago and later filled in with lies.
Leon protested, but he had no proof.
By court order, he was forced to leave the house where he had grown up. The place filled with memories of laughter, warmth, and family was taken from him.
Later, he learned the truth.
That man had deceived his father and stolen the signatures.
The revelation left Leon furious and hollow. It taught him a painful lesson.
Never trust anyone.
After losing his home, Leon had nowhere to go. He had never made friends. In school, he was bullied so badly that others avoided him just to stay out of trouble.
He was always alone.
"Haa… what a shit life I've lived."
Leon whispered to himself as he stared at the moon.
"What should I do now? There's nowhere left for me to go."
His green eyes looked empty, as if they could no longer see light.
Just then, three men appeared on the dark road ahead, walking toward him. They looked to be in their mid-thirties. Their expressions were calm, unreadable.
Leon passed by them without a word.
So did they.
Suddenly, something grabbed him from behind.
Before he could react, a piercing pain exploded in his stomach.
Leon twisted his head back and saw the same three men. His vision blurred as strength drained from his body.
He heard one of them speak.
"Hey, be careful. Did you pierce his vitals? We need his organs in perfect condition."
"Relax. I stabbed his intestine."
"Good. Cut his neck."
Those were the last words Leon heard.
His consciousness faded.
Leon Admist died on that road, murdered by human organ traffickers.
————————————
Darkness.
Not a void. Calling it a void would be an insult.
In this absolute darkness floated a single sphere of light, radiant and golden, emitting an overwhelming energy. Slowly, the light changed shape, forming a humanoid figure.
It had no face. No skin.
Only white and golden light.
Suddenly, two voices echoed through the realm, appearing from nowhere and everywhere at once. The pressure of their presence was so immense that the entire realm trembled, as if bowing before a king.
The voices spoke in unison.
"Open your eyes, human soul."
The pressure vanished.
The glowing figure flickered, and a man appeared in its place.
Mid-twenties. Six foot one. Raven hair. Facial features above average, but not breathtaking. A face that would not make people fall in love at first sight.
Leon Admist.
He opened his eyes.
There was nothing but darkness.
"Is this the afterlife…? Hell?"
He thought calmly.
"I'm sure I died."
A voice echoed again.
"Human soul, this is neither the afterlife nor hell."
Leon tensed, panic rising, but he forced himself to calm down.
'Who are you?' he tried to ask, but his voice never left his mouth.
The voices answered, heavy and absolute.
"We are the essence of the universe. The source of all creation… and destruction."
