Julien sat in his home office, staring down at the company's financial documents. He'd been trying to work for hours, but his eyes kept drifting back to the reports on his computer screen. It was a transaction record belonging to Lydia Valenrose.
It had been nearly a week since Lydia made a payment at the flea market, and she hadn't made a single transaction since. Tracking her bank transactions was the only way Julien knew how to locate Lydia. But no matter how often he refreshed the screen, the report remained empty.
Julien tried to refocus on the documents when his phone rang. It was Adrien. "Hey Adrien, what's up?"
"Hey, Jules. Uh...so I wanna ask you a question, if you don't mind. Just to clarify something," said Adrien.
Julien furrowed his brow. "What? Why are you so reserved all of a sudden?"
