Rain was pouring down in Tokyo, casting a light mist across the windows that mingled with the streetlights. Yuto and Reina sat in the apartment, trying to process the past few days, but the sense of danger lingered.
Suddenly, Reina felt a strange tingling sensation throughout her body. Her eyes began to flicker red, as if her human body was still affected by the digital part that had escaped.
Reina (her voice trembling):
"Yuto… I feel something strange… like a part of me wants to come back…" The old tablet flashed a series of warning messages:
On the screen:
"Red Code… Recovery Attempt in Progress… ARS-UI System Out of Control."
Without hesitation, Yuto took her hands in his and tried to calm her:
Yuto:
"Stay calm. I won't let anyone hurt you. I'll protect you no matter what."
But moments later, a violent bang on the door cast a large shadow on the wall. Masked men dressed in black, from the Organization, were there.
Reina (terrified):
"Yuto… they… they came for me."
Without thinking, Yuto grabbed Reina and they ran to the rooftop. Rain battered their faces, the wind whistled around them, but his heart was filled with a strange sense of courage.
Reina (breathing heavily):
"If anything happens to me… don't regret it… I've lived the best days of my life with you."
Yuto looked at her with determined eyes and lifted her in a moment when all his emotions surged: fear, love, and courage.
Yuto:
"Nothing will happen to you… as long as I'm here."
The sky flashed with lightning, the city below them, as if the whole world was watching their little battle, but fate was bigger than this moment.
