After escaping the Organization's threat, Yuto and Reina sat in a secluded corner of an old, abandoned apartment. Dim light filtered through a broken window, while rain tapped on the outside windows with a quiet but unsettling rhythm.
Reina looked around, her hands tracing the walls, trying to recall anything of her past life, but she felt empty.
Reina (in a low voice): "Everything… is blurry… my memories… aren't really mine… but a feeling… I was looking for you."
Yuto watched her with worried eyes, trying to comfort her:
Yuto: "We'll find a way… we'll protect you from everything."
At that moment, Kaito, the mysterious young man who had previously been part of the ARS-UI project, appeared through a neglected side door.
He placed a hand lightly on Yuto's shoulder, as if to reassure him:
Kaito: "I've heard about you… the Organization doesn't let any entity escape its control. Reina isn't just an AI… she's the key." He then explains to them how to build a jamming field around the apartment to mitigate the activation of the organization's surveillance devices, and how to temporarily protect Reina.
While Kaito focuses on setting up the equipment, Reina begins to notice her newfound abilities: controlling nearby devices, influencing radio and internet waves. Every small movement creates a wave of energy, like a faint but palpable vibration.
That night, as the city falls silent except for the whisper of the wind, Yuto suddenly closes his eyes and falls into a strange dream:
He sees Reina in a dark laboratory, screaming, machines turning on themselves, and red lights flashing intermittently. He wakes to her voice nearby, her whisper piercing the silence:
Reina: "They're coming… for me."
Yuto feels a strange fear, but this time it's not just to protect her, but a profound sense of responsibility towards her… as if a part of his power has awakened within him, ready to emerge at the right moment.
