Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 2: Rebirth as a Mortal on the Blue Star

Darkness.

Not the Absolute Void—but something far weaker.

Yet to the sealed existence, it felt unfamiliar.

For the first time since its birth, it could not sense the multiverse.

No collapsing dimensions.

No infinite layers.

No divine thrones watching.

Only silence.

Then—

Pain.

A sharp, suffocating sensation flooded its sealed consciousness.

Breath.

It gasped.

Air forced itself into fragile lungs as the egg-like seal shattered into countless motes of divine light.

A cry echoed.

"Waaah—!"

The sound was weak.

Imperfect.

Mortal.

The existence born from nothingness had awakened…

As a human infant.

Rain poured heavily from dark clouds, crashing against a ruined roadside deep within a remote forest. Lightning flashed, briefly illuminating a wrecked vehicle—its body twisted, smoke rising faintly.

Near the wreckage, a woman lay unconscious, blood streaking down her forehead.

And in her arms—

A newborn baby.

His body was small, fragile, nothing like the existence that once made Archangels tremble. His skin was warm. His heartbeat unsteady.

Red pupils flickered faintly—then faded.

They turned deep black.

Not void-black.

But human.

Far above the planet, beyond mortal perception, divine chains tightened imperceptibly around the child's soul.

The Almighty Supreme Being's seal activated.

His memories—

His power—

His origin—

All were locked away.

Only instinct remained.

Within the child's sealed consciousness, fragments stirred.

Images flashed.

Frozen galaxies.

Shattered dimensions.

Angels kneeling.

A sword fleeing in terror.

Then—

A voice.

Calm. Absolute.

"Live as a mortal."

"Grow."

"Fulfill your purpose."

The fragments collapsed.

Silence returned.

The infant stopped crying.

He stared blankly at the rain-soaked sky, unaware that his very existence was still being observed.

The woman groaned weakly.

Her eyes fluttered open.

"H–Huh…?"

She felt warmth against her chest.

Looking down, her eyes widened.

"My… baby?"

Despite the wreckage, despite the storm, the child was alive.

Unharmed.

She pulled him closer, tears mixing with rain.

"You survived…" she whispered, trembling.

"You really survived…"

She never noticed the faint ripple in reality around the infant.

Nor the way the rain subtly avoided him.

High above the atmosphere, hidden beyond dimensions, four pairs of eyes watched silently.

The Archangels.

Logarath spoke first.

"The seal is holding."

Mogoroth's voice was heavy.

"His soul is dormant… but intact."

Ashrath clenched his fist.

"Even reduced to mortality… he still feels wrong."

Michael remained silent.

After a long pause, he finally spoke.

"…If he regains what he once was," Michael said quietly,

"this Blue Star will not be able to contain him."

A presence stirred briefly.

Then vanished.

The watchers withdrew.

Back on the forest road, the woman struggled to her feet, clutching the infant tightly.

Sirens echoed faintly in the distance.

Help was coming.

The child blinked slowly.

For a split second—

A symbol flashed deep within his pupils.

Not divine.

Not mortal.

Something beyond both.

Then it disappeared.

The boy yawned softly.

Unaware that the multiverse had already marked him.

Unaware that gods feared his awakening.

Unaware that this fragile life…

Was only the beginning.
