Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 4: The Fallen Angel

There existed a place untouched by the laws of the Blue Star.

A realm that did not exist within reality itself—

Yet still existed.

Its sky was dark, though not completely shrouded. A massive palace rose beneath it, forged from obsidian stone and shadowed metal. Above the palace, demonic winged creatures swarmed endlessly, flying to and fro like living omens.

Outside its gates stood thousands of demons—beasts of countless forms, each radiating a terrifying demonic aura. Yet despite their ferocity, they were nothing more than low-ranking soldiers, mere fodder of a far greater power.

This realm was known as—

The Dark Kingdom.

Within the palace, a grand hall stretched endlessly.

At its center sat a dark throne.

Upon it lounged a figure with an air of utter boredom.

Two female demons sat beside him—one on his right, one on his left. Both were stunningly beautiful, their appearances indistinguishable from humans. Yet beneath that allure lay absolute power, their terrifying auras restrained only by will.

They were not alone.

Sixteen Demon Generals stood in solemn formation—

Eight to the right.

Eight to the left.

Each possessed overwhelming authority.

Yet none dared speak.

The one seated on the throne had black hair that fell past his ears, framing a pale, flawless face. Two dark horns curved from his head. His red pupils gleamed faintly beneath half-lidded eyes. His lips, crimson in color, were curled into an expression of disinterest.

His attire was elegant—dark robes with a high black collar concealing the sides of his face. One hand supported his cheek as he leaned lazily against the throne.

His name—

Lucifer.

The First Creation of the Almighty Supreme Being.

Before Michael.

Before the Heavenly Host.

Lucifer once stood at the pinnacle of all creation, wielding power far surpassing the Archangels. But due to his pride—and the mystery surrounding his transgression—he was banished from the Divine Realm, cast away to a distant world, never to stand before the Supreme Being again.

Half of his power had been sealed.

To reclaim it would require an immeasurable sacrifice.

Yet even so—

Lucifer remained a being of absolute authority, unrivaled within his domain.

Suddenly—

His eyes flickered.

A faint presence brushed against his perception.

From the Blue Star.

Weak.

Insignificant.

He was about to ignore it—

When something about it felt… wrong.

At his side, one of the female demons chuckled softly.

"Seems the ones above us are having quite a pleasant time, don't you think?"

Lucifer clicked his tongue.

"Tch…"

He straightened slightly.

"What was that I just sensed?" he muttered.

His lips did not move—yet his voice echoed through the hall.

"The heavens…"

"…have they sent down a toy to keep me in check?"

A silent laugh reverberated across the Dark Kingdom.

Then—

"UNACCEPTABLE!"

His voice erupted like thunder.

The entire Dark Kingdom trembled violently. Towers shook. Demons fell to one knee. Even the palace walls groaned under his fury.

"The heavens think they can mock me," Lucifer continued coldly,

"by bringing down a strange existence to restrain me in this prison of a world?"

His crimson eyes burned.

"Just wait."

"Once I reclaim my power, I will crush this world with a snap of my fingers."

"And then—"

"I will descend upon the Divine Realm."

"I will crush every scrawny bird," his voice deepened,

"including you, Michael, who dared take my position."

"And most of all…"

His aura surged violently.

"You, Almighty Supreme Being."

Among the sixteen generals, a figure stepped forward.

He bowed deeply, one hand placed over his chest, the other behind his back.

His appearance was refined, resembling a dignified butler.

His name was Sherach Colt—

Demon King of Shadows.

"My Lord," Sherach said respectfully,

"allow me to investigate this anomaly."

"If it poses any threat to your future ascension," his eyes gleamed,

"I shall eliminate it immediately."

Lucifer stared at him in silence.

The hall remained deathly still.

Finally—

Lucifer gave a slight nod.

"Proceed," he said lazily.

"But hear this well—

If you sense even the slightest threat…"

"Erase it."

"And if not—return."

"I will tolerate no failure."

Sherach bowed once more.

"As you command."

Dark, flame-like shadows engulfed him—and in the next instant, he vanished.

Lucifer leaned back against his throne once again.

His bored expression returned.

Yet within his mind—

Rage burned hotter than hellfire.

"…Just you wait, heavens."
